I've always wanted to visit and I think it's really beautiful. The culture really appeals to me and I think I would have a lot on common with people there. The problem is that I've read some things about it and a lot of people say that Portlanders are rude and not very friendly. It's also been said that housing is very expensive and people are terrible drivers. I'll be moving there by myself and it worries me if I won't have anyone to talk to haha :/ It would be awesome to get some advice from people who have visited or actually live in Portland currently. Thank you!

First off, I would just like to say that I have never been formally diagnosed by a doctor for my social anxiety but I KNOW I have it. So please don't say it's all in my head because it isn't. - I dropped out of high school and now I'm getting my GED, I should be taking the final test in a few weeks and after I pass I plan on attending Chattahoochee Technical College for two years.. I can't attend traditional university for four years because of my anxiety and after technical college I want to become a journalist and makeup artist. My question is, would I need to attend a four year college in order to even be considered for the job(s)? Is technical college the same as regular college on paper? Will this get in the way of me getting a decent job if I only attended college for two years? Or could I just get a journalism degree from some other school? I can't see myself as college material and I just need help deciding on this before I go ahead with anything. Any advice or information you can give is greatly appreciated. By the way, I'm seventeen and will be eighteen in early August. Thank you :)

I realize that people usually start dancing at a very young age, but there also has to be a bit of talent and lots of dedication, am I correct? I'm seventeen years of age and I want to learn very badly, I've always really wanted to but never got the chance. I did gymnastics for a few years back in elementary school so I'm quite flexible and a fast learner. Am I qualified?

I'm seventeen years old and I'm in the process of getting my GED. I plan on getting my bachelor's in Journalism and Communications. I also want to model, specifically in alternative settings. I know what I want, but I'm not sue how to start or where to go. Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much. x

I think we should have one on here because some people may be too embarrassed to ask certain questions and because of that they keep whatever problems they have to themselves. Some people just may not want to reveal their identities for some reason. Am I right? So... how could one go about prompting Yahoo to have an anonymous option? Does anyone even know if that's possible? Thank you all in advance.
