Lately I've been having an issue with my Graphic Card. I have Sims 3, and after a while of playing, the screen goes off and the computer shuts itself down. This is most likely due to an overheated graphic card. I updated the Catalyst driver, and granted, it takes longer to overheat the graphic card, but after a while it does anyways. Even at medium intensity, and usually when rendering is involved, i.e 'make a sim' mode. This should NOT happen, as I have a very powerful graphic card there are for playing this game (ATI Mobility Radeon 5870), quad i7 processor, and 8 GB RAM. So what's up with that?

extra note: The graphic card seems to also be generating huge amounts of heat when the computer is idle (76+ Celsius), and seems to jump to 100+ Celsius w

I have tried: updating the graphics card/catalyst drivers, disabled data Execution Prevention (DEP) for The Sims 3, changing the sims settings to lower performance requirement, better environment, etc...everything helped a little but there is nothing that has completely remedied my problem yet. So don't give me those 'solutions'.
