I have some questions in mind and i would like to ask for your opinions.

1) Being in a broken family (Divorced parents, single parent since birth etc.), have you ever noticed that people seem to respect you more after they have known your background? Like because you have gone through more than them, so they will feel relatively inferior to you. What do you think of this "respect"?

2) And also when there are 2 people, 1 who has a complete family, 1 who has a broken family, why is it that when both of them makes the same mistake, it seems that people are more forgiving to the one with the broken family background? What do you feel if people are more forgiving towards your actions even if you make the same mistake?

I am one of the luckiest person on Earth.

I have both my very understanding parents with me, i have siblings to accompany me.

I have good results, i don't have to worry about food nor shelter.

I don't have allergies, i don't have any illnesses.

Everything just seems too perfect for me that i don't know how i should feel, or rather what i should do.

Besides being appreciative and be humble , is there anything that i can do?

I have friends who are brought up by single parents, i have friends who face family problems, I have many people around me who have holes in some aspects of their lives, how can i help them? If you are one of those who needs help, what do you need? I want to reach out to many people, but i feel that since i don't have the same problems, i won't be able to understand them. I feel that i could do something by giving, by sharing, but how can i exactly help.. ?

Hi Im a typical secondary school student, and I was in the best class but since last year I have been failing the exams and getting the worse marks in my class. I may be boosting that erm I believe in myself that I can score much better than that, and such things happen is because I have not been doing my best. I don't know why but I just couldn't work hard before exams despite knowing the consequences, thus not trying my best and stuffs. Hi there! Another 4th July has come! I am not an American ( I am from Singapore in fact ) but i still wish everyone a very Happy national day today and hope you guys have a nice day! And you may write some of your resolutions or hopes for America here if you want : ) Kind of treat it as a shoutbox haha

This year is a not a very good year for me compared to last year. I remembered being very refreshed last year and I have clear outlook in my live and I was hardworking and I know what I have to do. I was even one of the top. However this year my grades started falling terribly and I was last in class and suddenly everything just became very unreal for me. It's not that I refuse to accept the reality but it was weird. I don't feel 'alive' or 'awaken' . It seems to me like I'm replaying my life. When I see things like my schoolbag, it just doesn't make sense to me. I see and I can feel but just not 'alive'.

I would greatly appreciate if you can give me any tips related to this matter on the not 'alive' part if you know about this. You can also give me tips on how to Improve my grades or if you are a good student what are your habits in studying. Thanks a lot!

Im going overseas with my school to interact with the students who were younger than us there :)

Competition motivates a person more and allow himself to improve more and it leads to innovation, causing better things were being invented. Of course sometimes because of competition it will arouse jealousy which only set us the mind of winning. On the other hand, comparison is considered not as "impactful" as competition but with only comparison we can only know who or which is better or worse and these are just our thinking and opinions and maybe not true.

We can compare two or more people or things, and this is just our opinions. But we can't do this competition; competition is real and who is better is based on facts.

Competition may require comparison but comparison dont require competition, this is what i think.

Okay so everything was actually quite simple.

I have a friend (name it as A) who have been close to me and thus will always tease me and i actually dont mind and sometimes i even find it interesting and funny. Then i got another close friend of mine (name it as B) who went up to her and reprimand her to be more considerate of other people's feelings, including mine.

Now A told me that she shall not tease and interfere my personal relationships and i know she was pretty serious about it. However, i also know that B was being nice to cares about my feelings as well as others' feelings.

All of us are considered good friends, but through this i not sure if there has a crack in our friendship. What do you think i can do next because it happened because of me and i dont want our friendship to be awkward?
