How to record 8 hours of consecutive video footage?
For my video production class, a friend and I took on a project filming a video to prove a record for the Guiness Book of World Records. We were told that we would have to film for 8 hours straight. I know for a fact that with my camcorder, we will not be able to record that long, as memory is an issue. I thought that we could daisy-chain 2 VCRs to the camcorder, and load them up with 6 hour tapes, and switch recording to the second VCR near the end of the first tape. This would work, but we would prefer to keep everything digital. Any suggestions.
2 AnswersCamcorders8 years agoWhy don't some people support 'Right to Work'?
I've been curious as to why some people do not support states to become 'right to work' states, where one is not forced to join a union. I have heard several people say things such as it is the 'right to work for less' or 'right for employers to abuse their employees', when in reality, that is completely off. The only thing right to work ensures it that if an employee does not want to join a union and give away part of their salary to union dues, then they don't have to. If the employee does want to join a union, they would be able to.
Back around the industrial revolution, unions secured reasonable pay and safe working conditions, but now they just seem to get in the way of things. For example, if it weren't for the union at Wonder Bread, those people would still have their jobs.
I want to hear from the viewpoints of people that do not support right to work policies.
6 AnswersCivic Participation8 years agoWhat do I set my voltage converter to?
I live in the United States and recently imported some electronics from the United Kingdom and bought a voltage converter to use them. On the back of the converter (the side that plugs into the wall) there is a switch. One side says 117V and the other says 230v. Which one do I set it to?

6 AnswersFast Food8 years agoVoltage converter for importing a UK VCR to the US?
I am currently in the process of buying a PAL VCR from the United Kingdom, and I live in the United States. I understand that I need to buy a voltage converter so that the power doesn't overwhelm it. I'm not too sure what exactly which one I should buy. If anyone here could give me a certain specification to look up, or some links to cheap converters on eBay or Amazon that meet my needs, please post them!
