I'm a college student and I want to begin investing. I bought several books on the subject but I'm just wondering how difficult is it to learn, and how long does it take to be able to adequately navigate it?

I'm a begginner and I've been playing for about 6 months. I've been teaching myself with a combination of youtube videos and a book on reading music/music theory.

Now I've taken moderately difficult songs and managed to learn and play them well just by watching the keys being hit. So I think I can figure things out a bit faster than usual. But in general how long does it take to become good at it? Not AMAZING or Phenomenal. Just solid at it.

I'm taking a beginners piano course next semester. But aside from that what should I be doing to progress faster?
