I'm looking to enlist in the Army Reserve as a 68W. I understand that I won't be a line medic because there is no combat arms in the Army Reserve but I'm curious what my duties would include. I'm just curious if I would be a paper-pusher or what I might be able to expect.

I know that MD's and DO's attend residencies and fellowships but I can't seem to find any information regarding how PA's specialize. I have read that they can specialize in pretty much any field but would that require them to attend a PA residency (if they exist) or do they just get hired into a certain area such as emergency medicine?

I am doing some research regarding a career as a physician. I am a pre-med student and want to ensure I do enough research about the the different healthcare specialties. I know there are both MD schools and DO schools and what I have read has basically stated that while the academic training differs slightly that these days both areas of medicine are essential the same. When I read about Osteopathy it says that a large number of DO's simply practice in general medicine while approximately 40% will eventually specialize. Is it difficult for a DO to get into a specific residency? I am interested in surgery, internal medicine and emergency medicine.

I'm joining the Army Reserve and one of the units nearby is an MP company. I'm enlisting as 68W and I'm curious as to the role of a medic in an MP co? Is it similar to that of a line medic or is it still primarily clinical?

I have read stuff that says where you attend IET is dependent on your MOS. Is this true? A friend of mine was a 68W and went to Ft Leonard Wood. I have tried to find information regarding this but can't come up with anything. I would assume that it is based on the needs of the Army and where openings are.

I'm looking at joining the Army Reserve and applying for the AGR program once I have graduated from AIT. I'm just curious if I would be able to choose my duty station and unit in the AGR or is it up to the needs of the Army Reserve?

I have started the background investigation phase for a police department and I want to try and help out the investigators as much as possible and get them a copy of my background investigation for my security clearance with the Air Force? I had a secret clearance in the military and I have heard it is possible to get the disc from it. Anyone know the form i need to fill out and where to send it?

I am looking to retrain to pararescue and I would like to know the standards so I have an idea of what I'm training towards.

I am looking for a good french learning program that isn't going to empty my bank account. I have heard both good and bad things about Rosetta Stone and honestly i wouldn't spend that much money anyways. Can anyone suggest a program that they may have used and had good results with? Thanks.

Since the Canadian Forces unification, can all of the members of the Canadian Forces be stationed on any base? I'm mostly referring to Military Police since, regardless of service component, they all have the same job. Can a MP from the CF Navy be stationed on a CF Army base for instance?

Since the Canadian Forces are a unified service, does that mean that members from each service can be stationed at any CFB? What about Military Police? Can a MP from the Air Force be stationed at an Army base and vice versa?

I really want to serve in the Canadian Forces and the recruiting website doesn't mention permanent residents at all. Would I have to wait until I was a citizen before I can join or is there some other way I am not aware?

I will be moving to Canada and I really want to get dual citizenship after I have lived there for the required amount of time. Can I apply for permanent resident status upon reaching Canada if I will be remaining there permanently?
