Friend: "So like for Carthage I had to write an essay about why I wanted to be a nurse. Why would you want to be a nurse? Because I mean in Papke's class you never really showed any interest in it"

Me: "that's what I'm saying"

Friend: "But I guess I've never really seen you really interested in anything besides swimming"

I was thinking about careers and have considered nursing my future career for almost a year now but I have realized that o am not a caring person and I hate taking care of people. I love to figure out why things happen but I do not want to go through all the years of education that it takes to be a doctor. I would like to do something medical related but I also think that crime related stuff is pretty cool too. I just don't know what exactly I want to do with my life and I'm kinda scared. Anyway, does anyone know of any careers that I could be interested in?

I am 17 and have never had a true boyfriend. I have yet to have my first kiss and it hasn't ever bothered me until recently. The last boy I liked (about 8 months ago), I liked a lot. He liked me back but didn't have the time or effort for a relationship. The last couple days I have really been craving that same feeling I got around my last crush. I want to like someone as much as I liked him. I know I should focus on school, work, and my friends but how can I stop feeling so lonely? I know of boys that like me that I don't like, so I know I don't just want a relationship but rather real feelings. I just don't have anyone to talk to about it right now and I need some advice. So, how can I stop craving this feeling?

For my summer homework, I have to pick a book to annotate, create a timeline, complete a characterization chart and complete a list of vocab. I am stuck and am unsure which book I should pick. My options are

I am not necessarily looking for the easiest read, but more for something interesting that I will not dread to read.

So A and B started dating and 5 days later, B was off making out with C. C told D and D told me. B and D are best friends. D is telling me that I cannot tell A (my best friend) that she was cheated on or he will never talk to me again. Should I tell my friend that she was cheated on or should I keep a secret and still be friends with D? Keep in mind that A and B just broke up today and did not even date for 2 weeks.

I am looking at college courses and I am required to take fundamentals of nursing (t) and fundamentals of nursing (p) During the same semester. I was curious as to what this difference between the two is.

So I'm thinking about what I want to name my kids if they're girls. I have Audrey Alyse and flute the second one I want the middle name to be Leah. Any suggestions for a first name?

I am having troubles with my back handspring. I took tumbling about a year and a half ago and I was so close to getting my bhs but without a spot, my arms collapsed every single time. I can do a bhs on a trampoline, a mattress and a super thick mat. I have come to the conclusion that when my hands hit a solid surface, my arms collapse (no matter how tight I keep my arms). I can do a back limber, so what would be the next step towards getting my back handspring without a spot

So I am a 14 year old girl who just wears her hair in a ponytail every day. I have no ideas! I don't like anything too time consuming, and I only have a curling wand and a curling iron. I have short, little curly hairs in front that stick right out, even with hairspray! So anybody have any easy, nice looking hairstyles? My hair is about 5 inches past my shoulders, and brown. So, I can do a back handspring really well with a spot, but when I do it by myself, I always hit my head. No matter how hard I try to keep my arms straight, they bend. Also I can't seem to push off of my hands. I don't know if I just forget to, or what, but I just don't. So any tips on how to practice pushing off of the ground (Besides handstand snap downs. I have been doing those and they aren't helping me), and how to keep my head from hitting the ground. Thanks in advanced!

So here's the deal. I am a very out going, hyper person, but I really hate making eye contact. I just can't look into someones eyes, and even if someone catches my eye for a split second, I get uncomfortable. I was wonder why I do this, because I have never heard/seen anyone else do this. I got really curious, and now I really want to know! I don't like making eye contact with my best friends, strangers, or even my own family. I just find it weird that I get so uncomfortable when I make eye contact with someone. Anyone think they could help me?

Okay, so 4 of my friends are totally OBSESSED with One Direction. It's all they talk about. Almost 100% of what they say somehow relates to them. One day in art, I was sitting by my other friend (Let's say her name is Sam, who also hates 1D, and loves swimming like me) and one of the obsessed girls (Lets say her name is Nat, pretty much my best friend. She LOVES 1D.), and me and Sam were talking about swimming. So Nat proceeds to say, "Can you guys stop talking about swimming? It's all you talk about and it's really annoying". So I said "Well, now you know how we feel." And she immediately shut up. Was the mean? I was just trying to make a point. Oh and what is your opinion on One Direction and Directioners? Personally I think 1D is only popular because they are 5 British boys. And Directioners.... they are just.. .too much... I don't even know how much longer I will be able to stand it. I slept over at Nats house with another girl (Lets say Alex), and Nat heard the 1D pepsi commercial from her BASEMENT!!!

So now that my rant is over (sorry, I REALLY had to get it out), what's your opinion?
