Why doctor advised not to feed newborn baby with bottle (top up milk )

USG reports confirmed my wife is having placenta praevia.

USG at wk-31 - hematoma with size 5cm x 2 cm in placenta

USG at wk-32 - hematoma with size 4cm x 2 cm in placenta

Sonographer said, better to get this out before delivery.

Just a question, what can be complication if this does not come out till delivery. Anyway we are prepared to C-section

USG detected Placenta previa for us. You can say bad luck but at wk29.5, She started bleeding and immediately rush to hospital. Doctor gave slots for Fetus lungs development and strict bed rest in hospital. Eventually bleeding settled down in 3 days.

Today at wk30.5, doctor advise to move a little bit but today also she bleeded again, it was more than spotting around 10 ml of blood. She is still in hospital and doctor again asked to go on strict bed rest.

Please share your opinion on accuracy of Accu check meter for blood sugar measurement.

Yesterday, I gave post meal sample to dr lal path lab for blood sugar measurement and it was 101, same time i took the reading by accu-check and this was 141.

My doctor said preferred reading is 120 post meal.

Just thinking, if this is possible Accu check is giving bad results.

Is this any method to calibrate this meter ?

my kid, who is three year old is going potty at least 10 times in a day.

Now this is around ten days, doctor advised Bacigyl-N Econorm and Z &D but no relief.

After potty, she complained about stomach pain/

This is not loose motion but she is going to toilet frequently without showing any weakness.

We has USG scan on 12wk +4 days and trisomy 21 risk was 1:4000.

Also we went for double marker blood test at 12wk +5 days, in this trisomy 21 risk was 1:2000.

Now we had triple marker test in this trisomy 21 risk was indicated 1:78.

We are worried. How this can do bad in 4 weeks time

Are lab results are not good in triple marker??

USG at week 5th, 6th and 9th

And medicines as

Sustain 200 mg twice daily

Duphaston twice daily

Sustain 200 mg injection once weekly

Corion 5000 injection once weekly

Is she giving me over dose, every thing is normal so far

My last LMP was 13th June 2013. I got urine test positive early this week.

But today at 5th week of pregnancy, my blood sugar fasting level was 102 mg/dL. Is this alarming ?

I applied fro UK VISA for inter company Transfer. Since I have to provide salary slip of 12 months, I gave them for 3 months only. At VFS center they accepted the application but officer rejected this application on based on documentation.

Since I applied from outside UK, and VISA fee is quite high 400 GBP,.

Please suggest if I can ask for admin review by sending missing documents.

I am 29 week pregnant and having high blood sugar,

On 10 Aug, I measured after breakfast (1 hr)reading was 182 mg/dL.

Last night on 11 Aug, I measured after dinner (1 hr)reading 205 mg/dL.

Today morning on 12 Aug, I measured after breakfast (1 hr)reading was 114 mg/dL.

I fact I soaked Fenugreek seeds in water for overnight and I had water (without Fenugreek seeds) before breakfast.

Today on 12 Aug, I measured after lunch (1 hr)reading was 222 mg/dL.

I think Fenugreek seeds is playing important role in reducing blood sugar. On other time also I got reduced sugar levels with same method.

Please suggest, if this is safe to take water from soaked Fenugreek seeds.

glucose challenge testing (GCT) comes out to be 194 mg/dL instead of normal 70-140 mg/dL.

I like to know a small blood at the injection point is normal or not?

We are at 22 wk, 6 days pregnancy. Doc suggested following medication

1) ASA 50 mg daily

2) Softareon Z once daily

3) Supracal once daily

4) Fragmin 2500 IU Injection daily (Low molecular weight heparin) daily at fixed time.

I used to take this injection at 7.30 PM daily.

Few days back, some blood ( around 1 ml) comes out from injection point.

In fact I used volini gel at injection point to reduce pain. I though this may be due to volini gel.

Yesterday I took the injection at 7.30 PM and today morning, some blood came from injection point. Again amount of blood was around 1-2 ml.

Injection wrapper suggest storage temperature should be 15 C to 30 C,

but I was not able to maintain this temperature for few hours.

For 3 hours injection was kept at 8 C and in day temperature was 33 C for around 3 hours.

Please suggest if this blood is due to injection temperature or this is normal.

We are suffering from three continuous miscarriage of 6 week each.

Now finally we are hoping forth time. this time

LMP was 17-01-2010

Beta HCG was 3516 and progesterone level was 60 on 17/2/10,

We did USG on 25/2/2010 in that FHR measured 128 /min, There is development of 5 week, 3 days in USG report instead of 5 week 4 days derived from LMP.

Again We did USG on 11/3/2010 in that FHR measuredd 163 /min, There is development of 7 week, 2 days in USG report instead of 7 week 4 days derived from LMP.

Is this normal, as in first USG developement was less than 1 days and in second one this was increased to 2 days.

If somebody is using this then please let me know how painful to take this injection.
