In my home network, all of the computers are working fine, but one. It is an older XP machine, and it won't recognize the media I plug into it. I can unplug the ethernet cable from this computer which is on the internet, and plug it into that one, and it don't light up, or recognize it at all. I thought the on-board adapter was bad, so I disabled it an put in a NIC, and it is doing the same thing. I can hook the computers together using a crossover cable, and it recognizes the connection and I can transfer files and work together, but I can't hook to a switch with patch cables and hit the internet with it. It will still see the other computer, but not the internet. In fact, in that configuration, neither computer will hit the internet. It is probably something simple that I'm not thinking of, please help brainstorm this out. Thanks

There is no provision in the constitution of the US for the government to take money from one taxpayer and give it to another no matter how poor. It is the people's responsibility to take care of each other. Why have we given that responsibility to the government.

I have always heard of a Southern Democrat, and assumed he was for the hard working American. It seems to me now that the hard working American is giving his paycheck to the government and they are spending it. Are Democrats still for the working man? I work hard, and pay a lot of taxes. Who is getting this money?

I am trying to find out if there is protection from taxes for minorities who may not be popular with the majority.
