While you're on the road, what are some personal things you wish you would have remembered to bring? What are the most important things to have on the road?

What is the best gift someone could give to take with you?

So, my friend [yeah, a SPECIAL friend =)] is going on tour with his band. They leave Friday and they'll be gone for a good two weeks. He also graduates right before they leave.

I want to get him something awesome to take with him or put together a care package, but I'm not sure what to include. Can anyone help me out with some ideas?

And please, nothing cheesy. I'm not giving him pictures of me, anything lovey-dovey, etc. I'm thinking more along the lines of practical, but thoughtful, too.

I have the newest edition fo the Sony Cybershot and I love it! But I was wondering if there is anything you can do to get some desired special effects such as: double exposure, fish eye, frog eye, etc.

This all started with my desire to buy a fisheye camera which led me to the Lomography/Holga website and now I'm totally confused as to where I should start!!

Eight years ago, one of my best friends was diagnosed with thyriod cancer. The disease was in it's earliest stages and therefore was quickly treated and cleared.

She just found out a few days ago that it has returned, metastisized, and is treateable, but probably not curable. Though she is puting on an extremely strong front, I know she's devastated. She's only 22-years-old and I know she's scared.

I've gone through all of the typical methods of "being there" and "coping"...but at this point, I'm looking for a more unconventional way to cheer her up.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Long story short:

Me and boy dated.

Reallllllly liked each other.

He told me I was one of 3 people he enjoyed being with allll the time.

Kind of lost touch as people do when you're both very busy people.

Tried to reconnect and felt a little awkward.

Am I being a stupid girl to continue my relationship with him?

My younger brother and I are very close! Our family just found out yesterday that he was accepted to Irvine. When he leaves for school, he'll be approx. 5-6 hours south of us all. I've seen quite a few BMWs with the Dinan ornament on the back of it. Usually on M3s or M5s...what does this mean? One of my friends told me that to reach Dinan status, you have to drop at least 10 grand into your already expensive car. Trus?

This activity was geared towards designing fashions for Barbie on paper. It came with a little lightboard table, clothing templates, and stencils. It also has patterns, color pencils, etc. I remember owning this over 10 years ago and I miss it terribly! I would love for my daughter to be able to play with it when she's old enough. CAN ANYONE HELP ME!?

There's a scene in the movie where Edward Furlong goes into a strip club and tries to dance his way into money. Well, right before he goes on stage, there's some other beefcake guy up there and I can't for the LIFE of me figure out what song he's doing his dance to. It's a funky R&B-type song. Can anyone help!?
