This year, I am in fifth grade, and there are some comfortable, big, plastic desks, and some cramped, small metal desks. I wound up with a metal one, and I want my teacher to let me switch somehow. If I just politely ask her, she will say something like,"There are a lot of other kids who are dealing with the desks too. You should be able to do that." The reason I can't adjust is because everyone else keeps things on two sides, but I leave room for pencils and pens, which makes me put all the folders in one stack. Please give me some advice on what to do. I desperately need a larger desk, because I can't physically get out without puling the chair totally out.
