ok so every time i pick a paper towl and my military macaw is with me it basicaly attacks me to get the paper towl then he sets it down when i hand it to him rubs it with his beak then proceeds to tear it up what is with this?

I have a military macaw who, to me, is the sweetest thing ever but when my mom brother or anyone else walks up to him no matter were he is he lunges at them. He also wont eat or drink if they feed or water him. How do i fix this behavior so everyone in the family can enjoy having him around instead of being afraid?

It's not the family they openly and repeatedly attempt to feed him and give him treats but every time he will lunge at them in full attack mode until I come and calm him down. I've attempted many different ways to help him and mobile g has worked . A little added info I'm the first one to pick him up and love on him in months he came from a pretty bad situation and before that he had great owners I'm just lost and need really bad help
