Seemingly Simple Stats Type Question?
I have a normal distribution and I would like to know how many standard deviations are needed for a 0.91 confidence level. So for example:
CL: 0.683 = 1 standard deviation
CL: 0.95 = 1.96 standard deviations
CL: 0.91 = ? standard deviations
It's seems simple enough, but it's been driving me crazy for the past hour or so. It seems the answer is somewhere around 1.68 sds, but I can't seem to calculate it directly.
I know I need the error function, but I'm completely lost as to how to use it. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here...
Anyone know how to find this?
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoLooking for some Photoshop shortcuts
I have two questions.
First, is there a shortcut to bring up the 'Set foreground' or 'Set background' color pickers? For example, I would like to be able to bring up the color picker wherever my cursor is, rather than having to go and double-click the color boxes.
Secondly, is there a shortcut to bring up the brush palette? (the one with all the brush dynamics settings as well as the brush stroke images). Again, I'd like to be able to bring the palette up without having to go click on the menu.
