Stoke 0-2 Man Utd: How poor were Stoke?
No fluid passing, no pace, no exuberance, they just lobbed the ball forward all the time expecting something to happen, but instead, it was just boring to watch and they kept losing the ball. There was no commitment or desire either, and Man U never looked unstable or uncomfortable, it was just too easy. No wonder the fans are angry. If this goes on, this club are only going one place. Down.
6 AnswersEnglish Football8 years agoWhat is a good mile time and 2 mile time for my age?
I'm 15, 5 foot 9, and I weigh 54 kg. For the mile, my time usually ranges between 6:00 to 6:10. My two mile time is usually between 13:25 to 13:35 sometimes a bit higher. I want to get my mile time below 6, but are these times sufficient for my age and what can help me improve?
1 AnswerRunning8 years agoMan Utd 1-2 Man City: Will City win the title again?
Personally, as insane as this sounds, I think this result will trigger a bad run of form for United. If they lose at Stoke and at Arsenal, which is quite possible, and drop a few more points, you never know what can happen. I think this isn't quite over yet. What's even more insane is I am saying this as someone who is fond of United (not a supporter, though).
8 AnswersEnglish Football8 years agoWhy are clubs like Leicester still underachieving this badly?
Leicester have got so much quality yet they are out of the championship play offs and got comfortably beaten by Barnsley. Also, none of the three clubs that got relegated from the Prem last season (Wolves, Bolton & Blackburn) look like they are going back up. Instead, Wolves and Blackburn are in a relegation battle and Bolton are mid table. Add Middlesborough, Leeds and Derby to this list and all of a sudden, the picture is clearer. Are they underachieving or has the championship just become harder?
5 AnswersEnglish Football8 years agoFulham 3-2 QPR: Surely this has finished QPR off?
Inexplicable mistakes cost them and, despite their strong fightback, they have messed up again. It was worse than the defending in their home game against Liverpool, and what was Samba doing? The second goal is so unlike him. He is usually better than that.
5 AnswersEnglish Football8 years agoWhat is your opinion on Art as a subject?
At school, I have found it such a fun subject and it relaxes me. It is great for expressing yourself as well. What do you think?
3 AnswersOther - Arts & Humanities8 years agoWhat's happening to Coventry City?
They are now in the league one relegation zone and are still winless, what is happening to the club? The future looks bleak, that's for sure. I know it is only 6 games through, but this is appalling.
5 AnswersEnglish Football9 years agoDo you think Peterborough United have the makings of a solid championship team?
They did quite well last season and finished relatively comfortably, but can they keep this up? I'm not going to judge them too much because only a few games have been played. If they do well this season, they could start building solidity, but it will be tough for Peterborough. So you think they can be a solid championship team or do you think they are soon going down to league one? I'm not a Peterborough fan, I'm just intrigued.
4 AnswersEnglish Football9 years agoThe idea of having a girlfriend or getting married puts me off?
This might not really matter at the moment because I'm only 14 but I think I never will want to. This might sound selfish, but later on in life, I just want to be free and I feel having a girlfriend or wife will just take this away from me because they might never compromise and for other reasons that might be too long to explain. I just want to know, is this a bad thing and do you think my opinion will ever change? Btw, I've never had a girlfriend and no, this isn't one of my priorities, family, friends and studies come first for me before anything else. I am just intrigued.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoDo you blame the exam boards for GCSE grades falling?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-19355956 This gives some information and statistics about it.
Personally, I don't think exam boards are to blame because I believe they must have a reason for raising grade boundaries. What do you think?
8 AnswersStandards & Testing9 years agoDo you think Fleetwood Town can do it again?
Do you think they can get promoted again? I know it is their first season in the football league but they must have alot of momentum after last season(over 100pts)and they have been considered as contenders. I don't support them or anything, I am just intrigued.
2 AnswersEnglish Football9 years agoWhy are some people in this section having a go at Man U?
Today, on our first game of the season, we lost 1-0 at Everton and I have noticed quite a few people on here say things like Fellaini owned us or United were crap. Why is it United seem to always be picked on more often than others, especially by the BBC? Everton away is a tough game as well and it is only the opening day, so why can't people just stop criticising and give us a chance?
12 AnswersEnglish Football9 years agoDo you think Coventry City will get back to the Championship?
Last season, nothing went right for them despite how hard
they tried. I really want this once great club to fight back and get back to the Championship. They have fallen apart a bit so I don't think they can do it. What do you think?
4 AnswersEnglish Football9 years agoWhy was this thing created?
This picture might scare some people so only look if you think you can handle it. It is a picture from Courage the Cowardly Dog:
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4009/4662948679_4a8...
I mean, it looks like a very horribly
mutated fish. Why would someone create this? How
would it persuade anyone to watch the show. I mean, I love courage the cowardly dog but sometimes it has some really strange stuff. It doesn't scare me personally, I
like some of the weirder things but I just can't understand
why this girl would entertain anyone.
1 AnswerOther - Television9 years agoIf I ran a longer distance, how long would it take me?
At the moment, I run a mile at an average range of 6:40-7:20 and I am 14, so how long would it take me to do a further distance like 3 or 4 miles? Or even 2 miles.
3 AnswersRunning9 years agoWhy do I worry so much?
I always worry when I have exams, and I seem to think I will do really badly and fail. I keep asking myself have I revised enough or how am I going to get through this. Whenever I have PE or any sports activities, I worry about performing badly even though I am a decent sportsman.Whenever I do something wrong or have a bad day, I think "What have I done" or "Why can't I do this right". My display name just says it all. I am a perfectionist and worry is my middle name.
1 AnswerMental Health9 years agoIs jetlag affecting my performance?
Ever since I have come back to England on a plane journey from San Diego, I have noticed I have run much slower mile times.I am 14 and I usually get anything in the range of 6:50-7:20, or a bit more on a bad day. However, 1 or 2 days after the plane journey, I went for a run and my mile time was 9:15, and about the same thing on my way back. This drastic difference just doesn't seem right. It was an eight hour time change. Also, on the day of that run, I had no breakfast and no water before the run.
