I am a 65 y/o financial professional (CPA and RIA) with a practice in Lake Oswego, OR. I am married with three adult children and three exchange student daughters and two grandchildren. I like golf, fishing, reading and family related activities.

  • Women Characters in my book - Would they do the following?

After a hiatus I am back writing my series mysteries, the Highway 101 Mysteries.

My question involves what my female characters would do. One is a late 30 something female CPA who finds her husband is cheating on her and finds evidence in a motel. I have her twisting his nipples, he screams, backs onto the bed, she straddles him and twists harder. The question is, would a woman do this? If not the nipples, I think I can get her to twist his ear. It makes a nice scene, very visual and she is acting, not only screaming at him.

The second involves teen age girls, 15 going on 16 or 30 depending upon your POV! I have one scene where my lead character 40 something dad overhears his daughter talking to two of her teen girl friends about a boy fingering her (inserting his finger in her vagina).

My question is whether this is a common experience. I know teen girls are experiencing that and more with their teen boyfriends and some women are quite physical.

I want to amuse my readers who are at present 60%+ male and 40% female.

Women seem to like 25 page scenes of sensual activity before the guy lays down the hammer. And the act usually takes place offstage while curtains blow in the breeze and the violins are playing.

So, are these scenes too graphic for female readers?

  • Les Miserables, does Anne Hathaway deserve the academy award?

Anne Hathaway was brilliant in this role although her screen time was brief. No body who sees this movie will ever forget her look of total despair. To see this performance is the reason you go to movies. And this needs to be seen on the big screen

  • FWB - Can a guy have more than noe fwb girlfriend?

Dating today for guys looks like a pre-marriage agreement, forsaking all others in sickness and in health as long as the love shall last. It's referred to as the new girl rules. If a guy looks at another girl, that's cheating. Smiles? Cheating. Checking out another girl? Double secret cheating with a penatly. Is that about right?

This fwb relationship is an exciting new category. Can a guy have both a gf and a fwb gf at same time? The current gf can then perserve her virtue and the fwb gf does the heavy lifting.

Or can he have only one fwb gf. If he has a second fwb gf, is that cheating as well? These are the questions that keep me awake at night.

FWB is a relatively new relationship and implies it doesn't carry the commitment level of dating where a guy needs to be available to text 24/7. If he's playing basketball, I guess he should wear his phone around his neck on a chain in case his gf or his fwb gf needs a reassuring text since she hasn't seen him since leaving school 42 minutes ago. Those separations are just hell!

It's difficult to write about teen characters until you understand the new girl rules

  • What is the difference between hanging out, hooking up and dating?

Teen dating seems to now be a pre-engagement ritual. I got responses to my previousl question about dating more than one girl at a time. It seems that today when dating a girl, sexual initmacy is implied or expected. Is this so?

Isn't hanging out meeting with someone and talking one on one? So if you hang out with more than one girl, are you also cheating?

Hooking up seems more vague and apparently differs in meaning. It is taken to mean a guy and a girl engage in some sexual activity, but not necessarily intercourse, and not necessarily intimate touching and oral stimulation. So one teens hook up may be making out, where another teens hook may involve intercourse.

This isn't very clear and it will ge interesting to see your responses.

  • Can a teen guy date more than one girl at a time or is he a 'player' if does that?

Upon reading the posts, teens as young at 12 or 13 are in exclusive dating realtionships. So the question is can a guy date more than one girl at a time or does that make him a player?

The advantages are that you can date casually (talk, date, good night kiss) with several girls at the same time. You are not restricted to the relationship with time accountability, daily contact and reassurances, and can enjoy the company of several girls (instead of the criticism of one?)

Why then do teens insist on these exclusive relationships. One teen girl was going back and forth on whether to date this guy, he asked out another girl and she accused him of cheating on her and using her. What?

Exclusive relationships take a lot of effort and care to prosper, perhaps beyond most teens. This may be why you see so many 'breakups' which are vastly dramatic events when the relationship lasted a total of two weeks.

Not to minimize the feelings which go into these relationships and the uncertainty of the guys approaching the girls and facing the rejection. There are sincere feelings of love which should not be trivialized becasue teens are young.

Perhaps this monogamomous standard has always been there and I was oblivious to it. I dated several girls in high school and college. Mostly these were dates to dances we'd meet at school events, go skating or biking together, bowling, play softball and volleyball and ping pong. A lot of the activity was at each other's homes. Perhaps this was 'kissing lite' by todays standards but we would make out at the movies or find a place to go and meet where we could have some privacy. We tended to separate girls into classy girls and trashy girls. The standard seems to be there today as well.

So can a teen guy date more than one girl a time or is he considered as a 'player," an apparently objectionable term to describe guys.

  • Foreplay - Do men spend enough time?

Women seem to complain that men don't spend enough time on foreplay prior to intercourse, particulary after they have been with a woman for a while, let's say more than six months.

If this is the case, what would you like guys to do that they aren't currently doing?

  • Oral - More or less after marriage?

I am a writer and am learning a lot about girls and women from posts here.

This question involves oral given by women to their husbands. It seems they give less oral to their husbands after they are married than before. Is this the case.

The theory goes that girls do this for guys to get them excited, then committed and married. Then after they are married they won't do that anymore. Or they will use it as an inducement to get him to do things they want done, (chores), or to make purchases, or just general ways to control their husbands.

Marriage is like having a high performance sports car (his penis) but there is only one source of fuel (his wife).

When single, if a guy can't get what he wants from one girl, he can find a different girl. When married this option is eliminated, isn't it?

So the question is, do women give more or less oral sex after they are married?

  • Oral - Is it expected now from girls?

I am a writer and want to understand girls today in creating characters.

It seems like girls today give oral sex to their boyfriends frequently like it is acceptable and expected. Go on dates, kiss, play button-button and then give oral to the guy.

At one time it was more likely for a girl to have intercourse with a guy than to give him oral sex. It was thought of as disgusting, unhygienic, and perverted. That was the perception. Today that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems to be much more accepted and, or course, a girl won't get pregnant if she pleases her boyfriend in this way

Also, girls apparently still consider themselves virgins if they have given a guy oral but have not had intercourse

So the question is, do girls give their boyfriends oral sex today because it is expected?

  • Do you play golf with people who cheat?

I have played golf for fifty years resulting in playing with many golfers.

I've held that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they play golf. Do they move their ball (foot wedge) or concede any putt to themselves under three feet? Do they blatantly cheat by tossing out a ball for one lost and then using it not counting a stroke for a lost ball? Do they fudge forward when placing their ball on the green?

I have played with poeple who cheat and I have found it insightful. For myself, I am fastidious on the rules if I am keeping my score. Some rounds are playing rounds, no scoring, and I'll hit a second ball, or kick it into the rough or trap to hit it from there. I do have a problem with temper expecting more from my game than my swing would dictate! I am aware of this and have improved my behavior over the last several years.

So, question. Do you play with people who cheat and how do you feel about it?
