So, i didn't read the last 2 books of VA but I'm reading Bloodlines and I have no clue why Adrians mom is in prison.

I read mostly paranormal but I'm open to non-paranormal books.

I like for each book in a series to center around a different character while still having the others be a big part. Like The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward. Here are some that I have read:

The Fallen Angels-J.R. Ward-love

The Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning-love

Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian-great when I need a BDB fix.

Dark-Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon-I really didn't care for

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon-loved it

Some Young Adult I've read:

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead-loved

Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare-Not for me

House of Night by The Casts-Hated it

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer-loved it

Fallen series by Lauren Kate-It's ok

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan-I love Zombies

Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel-Loved it

I don't really want paranormal books. Things I don't like are Harry Potter, Stephen King, Fantasy, and books with graphic rape scenes. Thanks for your help!

Oh, please don't say Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, or The Hunger Games. I've read Harry Potter(when I was 12) saw the Percy Jackson movie and I have no intention of reading The Hunger Games.

If you read them are they something you would recommended?If you didn't like them what would you recommend? I'm looking for a romance to pass the time till the new Black Dagger Brotherhood.
