So the most ridiculous thing happened. I work in a hotel, and the night auditor is one of those night audit douche bags you always see. A guest gave us beer, and i asked if I can drink one because it was clearly a light beer. He said "awwe man drinking at work?" I explained how I'm a professional, and I would never make anything to make a guest feel uncomfortable because I take my job seriously. He then told me about he "doesn't care about what I do around the corner". I come to find out later that he told the manager I was drinking at work even we had a conversation where I asked if it would be alright if I drank one of these light beers. I'm not being fired becasue drinking at work is apparently against policy even though I asked if it would be alright to do so.

I'm trying to examine how the source of power interacts with the components of a phone, and I traced the source of power to the part which hangs up the phone, and I can't tell which pieces connect becaust it's riveted to a piece of metal

It's a phone. I don't understand why a cord on a circuit board would simply lead to this piece of metal soldered to no electrical direction
