As a swimmer, what workouts do you do during offseason?
Since the weather is getting colder, pools are now closed. I'm just wondering what type of workout you do in this period to stay in shape until you start swimming again (i.e. running/jogging, jump rope, yoga, etc.). Also, if you wouldn't mind (completely optional), what is your diet like?
The truth is, I used to be a swimmer and during off season, I would always be lazy and play video games all day (which I now regret). I haven't swam in 2 years and I want to prep this offseason so when I return, I'm not dying because I'm only able to swim half a 25 meter in the pool.
