The baby came to spend the night almost 3 weeks ago and is still here. We love and enjoy her and at least we know that she is taken care of when she is here. But at the same time, we want her mother to take responsibility for her child. She has visited the child twice in the time we have had her, she seems more interested in being a teenager than a mother. We are in our 50's and were enjoying the "empty nest" time of our lives. We don't want the baby to be put at risk, but we would like to have out lives back. Any suggestions about how to guide the mother into the right direction?

I need to add chemicals and my husband and I have different opinions of how much water is in the pool.

She has never lacked for anything and has been taught right from wrong. She has never been a problem before and I know that she is growing up. But stealing, lying and breaking the house rules aren't acceptable. I have tried talking to her, I've grounded her. Nothing seems to get through to her. Any ideas?

He's a hard worker and provides for my daughter and their two children. It is just hard to be comfortable because there is always the chance that he will be deported. With the present economy I need to return to work. I have looked for a job that I can do with my physical limitations (nothing major, just restrictions on lifting and how long I can stand) but can't find anything. But because I haven't worked in so long, I don't qualify for disability. If I can't find a job because of my physical condition and can't draw disability, what do I do?

I have Windows XP and can find the wallpapers and screensavers in my files but the screen where I can set them has disappeared. How can I fix it without having to pay the repair shop again.
