My husband loves to hunt Canadian geese. We just recently moved to a lake and he can literally shoot them from our yard. Every attempt I've made at cooking them though, they've turned out like shoe leather. I've tried roasting them, I've tried cooking them in a roaster breast side down in a bunch of liquid with veggies in it, etc. I'm ready to give up, but my husband would love if I could find a recipe or method that works for making these geese nice and tender.

I'm 22 weeks pregnant with twins, they're faternal and we're NOT planning on finding out what sex they are, so I need a few different options. It could be two girls, two boys, or one of each.

Does anyone have any good home remedies for morning sickness. I'd like something that has been tried and true. My "morning sickness" pretty much lasts ALL day long. I'd love to NOT feel like my head is spinning and I need to stay near a washroom all day, especially since we're moving in a week or so, and I need to get to my packing.

Just curious. I just took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive. I had a feeling that it would be because I look/feel bloated all the time. This is going to be baby #4 for me and I'm just wondering how many other mom's out there were unable to hide their pregnancies for the typical 3 months. I'm only a few weeks and I don't think I'm going to be able to hide it from those that know me well for too much longer.

What do you think of the name Cali Denise for a baby girl. I'm not pregnant yet, but hope to be soon and if I have a girl this will probably be her name, just curious as to what your thoughts are.

Also...any thoughts on a boys name? I have 2 boys already, their names are Micah David, and Isaiah Darrell.

My husband came home with 2 baby snowshoe hares. They were being picked off one by one by a Raven and one of the 2 that he saved he had to gently peel off the ground (we had a large dump of snow the night before). So now we're trying to care for these babies but I don't know how old they are. Baby hares are born with fur, eyes opened and start hopping shortly after they're born. HELP! How else am I supposed to figure out how old they are. We've been feeding them goats milk from a medicine dropper morning and night, and wiping their little bums to help them go to the bathroom afterwards. I'd like to know if/when they're old enough to do that themselves. They're approx. 3" in length from bum to nose. So tiny and so cute. We want to be able to release them again, once they're old enough (we've been told 4-6 weeks is when they're weaned). Any info. or thoughts you may have would be appreciated. Thanks.
