I am currently writing and essay for English class and we are supposed to be writing in present tense throughout the entire essay. There are two parts in the essay that i'm partly confused about. One part I wrote "is burdened" and in the other I wrote "is worried." I thought these sounded fine to me but the classmate with whom I peer checked the rough draft with made a mark next to it thinking that it is past tense. So is "is burdened" and "is worried" present or past tense?

Are there any quotes about nature acting as a source for calmness that doesn't involve Victor or the creature? If so can any of you give some examples? Thank you.

Here's the situation. I went out on a date with a girl and watched a movie and this is the second time we hung out together. I asked if she ever thought about being in a relationship, she said not really and asked why, then I said I liked her. She said thank you and that's it. I don't know if she's not interested or didn't know what to say then but she's still fine with hanging out again soon say over spring break. Does anyone have any insight as to what this means and what to do now?

I asked out a girl earlier this week on a date and she said she'll has to know what she's doing over the weekend. Yesterday (Friday) I asked if she thought about it and she said that she probably can't tell me until Saturday night because she said that she had a lot of homework to do. But I'm worrying even more because tonight is a dance at our high school. (She's a sophomore and i'm a junior.) It makes me wonder if she was asked to that dance by someone. Should I call her tonight about asking her on a date or trust that she'll text me on her own? I don't want to come off as desperate or rude or anything of the sort.

As the question says, I want to know where I can watch Survivor for free. And no not Netflix, Hulu, or CBS because they cost money. I've never watched any of the seasons before season 30 so a one week or one month trial won't suffice.

There is this girl that I like and want to hang out with and be in a close relationship with. But one of the problems I have is that she seems to be very busy. I'm not entirely sure what she is busy with (she plays violin and piano) but I don't know why else she's busy and I don't want to be too intrusive about it. The other problem is that I've spent most of my time in my room on my computer whether it be video games or anime so I don't know much of what to do or hang out. The girl I like also lives far away (about 40-50 minutes) so obviously I have no clue what we can do close to where she lives. There are just so many inconveniences that I'm worried if I'll be able to approach her at all. (All we've done together so far is watch a movie.) Should I even try to pursue her any more?
