NHL 13 / Madden 13 PS3 Poor Graphics?
I'm normally a PC Gamer, but since it seems NHL and Madden titles are not being developed anymore for PC, I decided to pick up a PS3. Yes, I know XBOX has been said to be the better system for sports titles, however they don't carry some of the games I like to play, like the SOCOM and Metal Gear Soiid Series. However, trying to save some cash, I found the PS3 Store had Madden 13 & NHL13 cheaper than any used game vs quality of the disk.
After downloading, I started first both titles on the whole "Be a pro" and "Career" modes. I found that both titles graphics during gameplay just seem to be very poor. However all the disk games I've picked up, the quality of the graphics are excellent. I've even ran some Blu Ray movies and are of excellent video quality, so I know it's not my setup.
Starting to think these downloaded games chopped down on graphics for faster download... can anyone confirm? I might be looking in the wrong place, but I found nothing online about the info.
1 AnswerPlayStation8 years agoCar Guys: Rack & Pinion Auto Repair?
I'm not great when it comes to cars. I can do simple repairs, but more advanced stuff, I'm still learning.
I own a 2000 Dodge Intrepid and I believe the Rack & Pinion has gone out. I've talked to several people however I'm not 100% convinced of the issue since I get some mixed views. I'm trying to make sure so I'm not running through several repairs to fix one issue. Some outsider input would be great. (Please don't post and tell me to just take it to a repair shop to diagnose. I will ignore your post. I don't want to spend $200 just to tow it and $80 have tell me they don't know or it's something else and won't fix it and to take it elsewhere.)
Before:
When I purchased the car, once in a while turning I could feel the wheel tighten up. I figured it was only the power steering pump and ignored it till I could order a part. As time goes, I ignored it since the car was only getting me to work and home (12 blocks a day).
Scenario:
Driving home one night, attempting to avoid a car pulling out in front of me, I turned my steering wheel sharply and felt something break loose. Determined it was safe to drive home till I got it to a repair shop, driving straight I could feel the steering wheel have some play to the right and left.
After I got home, my roommate wanted to take a look, I started my vehicle and turned the wheels to each side. A moment later my steering wheel broke loose, and now just rotates all the way around. The wheels are straight, but turning the wheel in any direction was like turning the steering wheel on a toy car, useless.
I've had a few people tell me to jack up the front end of the vehicle and attempt to move the tires manually while turning the wheel and see if it catches. This does not work and the wheels do not budge.
I'm convinced it's the rack and pinion, but I want to make sure it might not be something else, like a steering column or etc.
If you have any opinions or other self tests I could try to get a better point of view would be most helpful. Thanks in Advance.
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoJailbreaking an iPod Touch...?
So I've been thinking it over. The past few months I've been reading up on Jailbreaking my iPod touch 4 64gb. It has nothing to do with "fighting the apple" movement BS. Just the games coming out on the apple site seem to be the same crap. So I've been getting back to retro gaming (nes, snes, and gen systems) on my pc.
Next week I'm going to europe for a month to work and I don't want to lug around my laptop everywhere, I would rather leave it in my hotel. I've been wanting to install a nes and gen emulator on my touch and whatever games I have saved, however every site says I need to jailbreak my touch.
Finally my questions:
What Jailbreaking software is best for I'm wanting to do (snowbreeze, Pwnage tool, Redsnow, other)?
Will the several movies I have from iTunes, still be playable (if not is there a Player I can download to play them)?
Can I still use iTunes to manage my collection (to and from my touch)?
Any info, suggestions, or guides would be helpful. Thanks in advance
2 AnswersPDAs & Handhelds1 decade agoIpod Touch 4th Gen Camera Issue?
Last month I purchased a Ipod Touch 4th Gen 64GB. I took a few photo's with the camera and they where crystal clear and kept a few of my fiancee.
Last week I was attempting to take some more of her (since I work out of town a lot), but the images appear blurry / granulated. I checked all over the apple site, but found no resolution. I hate opening tickets with apple, I always get some generic message and never a complete resolution.
The camera is suppose to be a 5 MP with 720p HD Images with approx 1078x768 resolution layout, but they appear more like 1 MP with 480i of 600x480.
I've already tried cleaning the lens, adjusting the brightness, photo settings, turning face time on and off, and even using a solid surface to hold a steady image.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a setting i've adjusted, that i'm missing to correct it?
4 AnswersMusic & Music Players1 decade agoWhy do the women cover their heads?
I'm not sure how to word this without being racist or religion based, but here goes.
I've recently moved back to my home town, after being gone 5 years, and the community is now a lot larger. I've noticed a "large" family group (about 40 of them) now lives in the area. I'm not sure what religion they are, but I've always wanted to know, what is the purpose why the woman cover their heads with decorated cloths and shawls.
I've always been afraid to ask them due to someone getting upset and taking offense. People are too sensitive these days, so it's hard to know what you can ask.
Please answer serious, thanks
