If so, what are the products?
Do metal salts react with insoluble bases or do they specifically react only with soluble bases (alkali)?

Its a alkali metal so its soluble??
So most carbonates are soluble except grp 1 metal carbonates and ammonium carbonates?
7 AnswersChemistry1 decade agoWill there be a reaction between ammonium hydroxide and ammonium chloride?
Will a "ammonium salt + alkaline -> salt + Water + Ammonia gas occur"
If no, does it mean that such an equation does not apply for ALL alkali or bases
Thanks! :D
2 AnswersChemistry1 decade ago(Acids and alkalines) Indicators :D?
What is the colour of Methyl orange in a solution of pH 4
What do they mean by Methyl orange: Colour in acidic solution: red
Colour in alkaline solution: yellow
pH range at which indicator changes colour: 3-5
Its really wierd, cause if you have an acid at first, the colour would be red, then as you add an alkaline, until the pH changes to 3, the colour would already have changed to yellow, although the pH is only 3, and not yet considered alkaline, and instead acidic???
Please help to resolve my queries!! Thanks :D
