So about a week ago, I completely wiped my hard drive clean with a program called DBAN. Before the wipe, I had a Windows Vista operating system on my PC. I'm pretty sure Vista was the default system on the PC. Well, I want to purchase Windows 7 and install it on my computer so I can get up and running again. So correct me if I'm wrong, but I'll need to buy the FULL Windows 7 Operating System..correct? And then if I do so, it will install on my PC and I can use it again. Anything else I should do? Like I said, my hard drive is completely wiped..thanks.

I'm on a friends computer.. but last night on my PC (which was a HP operating on a Windows Vista Home Premium) I decided to go in and delete everything on my hard disk because I may be selling the computer soon. I used Darik's Boot and Nuke or DBAN ... I burned the program on a CD ROM, popped it in and it took about 13 hours total and it cleared my hard disk.

Now what do I do? Can I get it to reboot and start over? How do I do this? Everytime I try, it just takes me back to the DBAN screen. Help please???

So I've read the law, and I see that in order for a police officer to question one's legality and demand papers, one must be suspected of a crime first. But the law also states that being in the state of Arizona undocumented is now a state crime. Wouldn't that be all the officer needs to pull you over? Or stop you on the street?

We need to get the money from where the money went - to the rich. Not only should we let the top tax rate expired, going from 35% to 39 1/2% as it was under Clinton, but we must raise the top rate even higher to get the money that Bush gave away to the rich for the last 8 years. I believe the top tax rate was 70% when Reagan became president. The rich usually don't work for wages and don't pay into SS. They receive interest, captial gains and dividends. Under Clinton, dividends and gains were tax as ordinary income, the 39 1/2% rate. Bush lower cap gains and dividends to 15% tax rate. From 39 1/2% to 15% for dividends is a hugh tax break to the rich, who don't even pay into SS.

Again, let's get the money from where the money went.
