My father is a paranoid schizophrenic and I never knew anything about mental illness until he started having psychotic episodes when I was 13. I feel like there is a stigma that comes with mental illness and its very hush hush and people are ashamed of it. I am supposed to write an illustrative essay for my English 111 course and I'm curious as to if this would be an appropriate topic. Thanks for any input!

Ever since I started working at the ski mountain my nose has been burning and dry. I recently found out they put chemicals in the snow they blow and other employees have told me its pretty normal for your nose to be dry. I'm in a lot of pain from it and am looking for something to sooth the problem. In addition I've had my nose reset years ago and the bone sticks out a little more on the right side and that is where it hurts the most.

It has been dropped and isn't in the best condition...but it will come on and show the black screen with the apple logo and when I plug it up to a computer the low battery bar pops up(Indication for charging). I've tried holding the home and power button to reset it but that's not seeming to work. Would anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what I could do to make it work? Thanks so much!

We'll be listening to music and people keep telling me, "Listen, this breakdown is so brutal!" and I still don't understand what it even is. Usually when it gets pointed out it's really fast drumming so if someone cares to elaborate that would be wonderful.

This is as simply as I can put the situation...

I went out with this boy. He moved. He broke up with me and went out with a boy. He broke up with the boy and went out with a girl. He broke up with the girl and now we're yalking all the time. We webchat a lot and he and his Mom invited me up for the summer. He calls me baby. We really thought we were in love when we dated. He said he would beg me to go out with him but he doesn't know if he's straight and doesn't want to hurt anyone. WTF does this all mean?

I have an a-symmetrical haircut that is about an inch long on the sided and 3 inches on the top, I want synthetic dreads but people have told me I need my hair to be at least 3 inches all over. Is that true? Any help anyone could give would be great considering I don't know a whole lot. :)

So it takes me a minimum of an hour to fall asleep at night, sometimes 4 or 5 hours. I am tired all the time, sometimes just a little while after I fall asleep I wake up and start wandering around my house, I will also sometimes wake up and toss and turn for whatever time of sleep I have left before I get up for school, I usually only get 3-4 hours of restless sleep and I'm groggy all day, I can't think or concentrate, I will doze off all day and I constantly yawn and ache from being so tired. But I can never sleep....I really need an asnwer to this. If anyone can help me or tell me what to do for it I would be so appreciative

So I am Agnostic. I have found that a lot of people get offended that I will stand for the Pledge but do not say it. It's not that I intend to be ignorant and selfish over what soldiers have fought for, it's just that they fought for our rights no? And not all of them fought for our country, I'm sure plenty of men chose it as a career. Thousands of people die on their way to work every day too so I just never found myself being rude. I salute the soldiers for being brave. But I do not support THIS COUNTRY. I find no glory in Americas ways. I do not agree that killing people UNDER GOD is correct. I simply find it all to be backwards and I guess I'm more venting then anything. Forgive me if you find me ignorant, I will respect all opinions from anyone who wishes to contribute to the topic. I'm only 15 so do not let me offend you with my words.

A girl member who has a boy cut or just short hair, or really any good hardcore bands that anyone knows of at all. I saw this video and the girl had a boy cut and was just rippin out some crazy vocal ****....I was hoping someone could help me out. I'm writing this dumbass book report on Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Its due tomorrow and I have no idea how to write it because I've been unschooled most of my life. I'm supposed to summarize George and Lennies friendship, bits in the book about loneliness and other random ****. I really like this guy, I mean it's more physical attraction because we haven't really ever talked. He's a bit shorter then me and has nice big gauges :P He's a Junior and I'm a Freshman. I have a mohawk(technically a Chelsea hawk cause my hair is 1/2 in long on the sides and I still have my sideburns and bangs) and I think a lot of guys don't like it. Do ANY guys think that girls with chelsea hawks are cute? And another question is how can I dress cute so I look girly while having short hair?

So I'm a writer and I have a rather good idea for a series of books about a teenage girls life and all the things that happen to her. But I started thinking and that concept is incredibly old. So are there guys in the world who think outcast, sarcastic, artist, self loving girls like me are attractive? I mean chicks with chelsea hawks, and multiple piercings and, sweet faces. I mean is it hot for girls to be smartasses? Or should girls just start dumbing themselves down and showing clevage and putting out? I'm seriously curious :) Answer boys :)

So I'm basically your typical loser artist :) I have like 2 friends, elephant pants, and a mohawk and I get called a dyke and a lesbian all the time, even though I'm not. All my teachers hate me and me and my two friends( rejected large gay guy, and a my almost sister prep turned indie hippie) eat lunch together at a table that cleared out since we started sitting there. I mean, I like myself but I was wondering if there are others who know what it's like to take everyones sh*t all the time. So just reply with all the crap that happens to you. I'd love to hear :)
