I have had what I assume is a nasty canker on the tip of my tongue for almost a week. Hurts to eat and drink, is waking me up in the night. Last night I used a drop off numbing cream on it and had a strange reaction. My whole face and down my neck all went numb. I got a brutal headache. My doctor told me to go to the hospital. They didn't know what it was, he cauterized my tongue with silver nitrate, very painful, but he said it would help. I woke up today my face still numb and my tongue is really hurting. Any idea what is going on?

I sat my son on the potty this morning, he sat there for 2 minutes, then got off and went and peed on the kitchen floor. He did that again later in the day. Anyone have any suggestions for the starting of potty training?

I have had really bad cramps all morning, in the front and back. When i went to the bathroom there was some blood. It hurts a little bit to pee, and the pain is still there along with the cramps. What should I do? Any suggestions of what this is?

Does anyone know what the stuff from Global Pets is called. Its used to treat yeast infections for dogs. I have tried the vet stuff and it doesnt work. I was told that this stuff works great, I think it has to do with lavendar. Thanks

My son is 9 months old and he wont nap for daycare now!

He was breast fed up until about 2 weeks ago, so I was used to feeding him and him falling asleep. Sometimes I could lay him down to sleep, but mostly he just slept beside me.

Now the daycare cant get him to nap. He falls asleep, then when she goes to lay him down he wakes up.

Any tips??

I love this daycare and I dont want to lose it because the baby wont nap!

I just found out today that i am pregnant. We were going to start trying in a few months, so we werent taking precautions. I am super excited

But I have gained alot of weight!! Is there anyway to safely lose weight while pregnant??

He has been exclusively breast fed. I have to go back to work in 2 months, and I am the only one that can get him to sleep because he feeds to sleep. I have tried pumping over and over and my body just wont let me pump.

I was thinking about trying my baby on goats milk. I work 3-11 so I wont be home to feed him at bedtime. So I was going to try getting my husband with the goats milk.

Anyone have any good things about goats milk?

( for personal reasons I dont want to try him on formula, my doctor has recommended that he start Homo milk at 9 months.)

I went to the doctor yesterday and he said that he wants me to start giving my son 3 meals a day.

Right now he has cereal and a fruit for breakfast and then 2 veg and cereal at night

Plus he is breastfed through the day

He has been on puree veg and fruit for awhile now

He's had

yam, squash, beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower

pear, apple, banana, avacodo, mango, tastes of cantaloupe

yogurt

I just dont know what kind of menu I should be following for him

My son is almost 6 months old, with each food we have waited 4 days between to wait for allergies. He has has 5 vegetables and 3 fruits so far. There are a few vegetables and fruits I am wanting to introduce. Do I always have to wait the 4 days with every food I introduce??

The new vegetables i am doing are cauliflower, parsnips and zucchini and the new fruits are Apricots

peaches/nectarines papaya plums/prunes

I have a 2 year old golden retriever that we have had since he was 2 months... He sheds like no other!

We have recently had a baby, that is now wanting to be crawling. We have Dyson vacuum cleaner ( the regular not the pet one) I cleaned the whole thing out, changed the filters... I have vacuumed 3 times and used this arm and hammer sprinkly stuff. But it wont come up. I set the baby down and I have to pull the hair off his hands and feet. ANY SUGGESTIONS???
