How do book funds when acting as an intermediary in QuickBooks 2008?
I recently acted as an intermediary for a client in the sale of a domain name. The sale completed and I was issued a check by the auction house. I have created an invoice to my client for my fees associated with the sale.
How do I correctly post the check from the auctioneer such that I can apply a portion of the monies against the invoice from me to my client, and then cut my client a check for the balance of the proceeds?
