I am thinking about getting a small 50cc scooter/ moped to ride around at my cottage, At first I was thinking of getting one w/o insurance, and just hoping not to get stopped.. But after thinking about it I| would really want some basic insurance to protect me if something happens...

I was trying to look this up, but almost everywhere I call they say they don't insure scooters or mopeds, or they only insure if your over 30...

Any info on what company to try/ any experience is appreciated.
