3 AnswersMathematics1 decade agono-so-impossible question (still very difficult)?
Since nobody seems to be able to answer my previous question (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsrUV... I thought I would make it a bit easier:
Say that you have a 4 by 4 feet floor that you want to cover with one square foot tiles. You have white tiles and black tiles. How many patterns exist so that no black tiles share an edge?

9 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoRestoring Electroplating?
I have an old Kahler tremolo system on a guitar that I would like to restore.
There is a metal base material exposed that looks like aluminum, but the rust is a moldy green.
There is a plating that is gold in color, and its rust is similar in color to brown iron rust, but with a much finer grain.
I would like to "fill in the gaps" on the plating. I was thinking of spraying a matching paint onto a Q-tip, and carefully filling in the plating gaps.
Any suggestions?
1 AnswerEngineering1 decade agoEnd of the world???
I know that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, but I just noticed something.
My fluffy kittens calendar ends Dec. 31, 2008!
That's the end of this year!
Should I be scared???
