Ok so I work at a popular restaurant, my job is preparing omelets at the omelet bar for brunch on Sunday mornings. Football season has started as of last weekend and they moved the station. This wouldnt be a problem if not for the fact that; there are 5 hot pans in front of me, the floor is constantly a hazard because it is frequently mopped thus slippery and can easily cause me to fall, hurt my self or knock one of the burning pans on any part of my body or even a stove (they are camper stoves), then it is in front of the server line, it has 4 100 degree burners to keep the food warm when it is put out to be taken, i only have about 1.5 ft between myself and the burners (which my body takes at least a foot of) last weekend i nearly fainted because i am required to wear a full chef coat and long pants, as well as an undershirt to keep from sweating through. I asked my boss simply for a fan or anything to keep us cool, he wont let us have water or a fan behind the counter and since the restaurant is so popular i dont get a chance to leave and sit down, it is a 7 hour shift with a 30 min break before breakfast even starts i cant take it in the middle i can only take it after i have set up the station where it is required to go. Is there any law that forbids this? Is there something i can do so that everyone is happy? I dont want to complain but i am simply concerned for my health as well as my coworkers. And what happens if i do faint or get injured? Would I be the one at fault or would they? I really like my job i just dont like where they moved it that is all i know i am an employee but there has to be some respect in the workplace. And if nothing changes, would you think it would be appropriate to ask for a raise? (i get paid 8 dollars an hour) which is very little considering how much work i do and I only get maybe 5 bucks in tips..... thank you for your time and concern

Ok so today i invested in a violin that was made in the 19th century (1800s) it came with a case that is from 1902 the only clue is that it has an odd shaped beckers chin rest that is fairly small it looks like a weirdly shaped potato on it's side or a pool or a lake any way the people i bought it from told me that it was german and was apprased at about 2000+ without knowledge of the maker it has a one piece back (i checked for a seem and there is none) i want to refurbish it and may even play it if its in good enough condition so can anyone help me with figuring out who it was made by? the label may have been lost or fell out since its so old or maybe it is lingering in the violin some where and its stuck in a weird place but i have no way of knowing that without a small camera so help me out :) thnx

heres my problem, im terrible at math but good at everything else i have already passed algebra 2 and im now in precalc and i cant stand it im probably going to end up with a d and i REALLY dont want to make up that over the summer since its pretty much impossible i have been in honors since the beginning 6th grade and i still am i have a weighted grade of around 3.1 and A LOT of extra circulars (6 instruments, ROTC, Baking, Cooking, Community Service hours, 3 clubs, must i go on -_-)

now i want to major in entrepreneurship and minor in baking then continue to get a bachelors in both later on however from what ive been told i have to take the 3 years in order to get in to uc schools what do i do!!!!??? Now however there is the option of going to community college but i dont want all my work in high school wasted over one freaking class SIGH

Ok recently my parents found out that I am sexually active (more or less my mother dug it out of me) at first they were ok well we need to get you some protection and set some ground rules, they actually said I could go to my boyfriend's (my first and only boyfriend of 2 years, same for him so there are no stds) house and do it there. Ok well this lasted all of two minutes, maybe a week or two later I asked about it and they always said that it was the wrong time to ask(in other words they were avoiding it) then later they basically said no way and if you dont like it you can move out. I see my boyfriend once a week and now that I have gotten a taste of it i really dont want to stop but I also am sick of sneaking around and constantly being afraid of them I am a straight A honors student do all of my work help out frequently and now all they do is call me a liar when I bring it up and make them the victim such as "oh his parents can charge us for rape" both of us are very upset we dont know what to do and we are just down right mad. So does anyone know either how to convince them or just new ways to sneak around (oh did I mention our only privacy is a couch in a wide open living room and they creep up just to catch us doing anything?) i hate this....

Ok heres the story, (im fiftteen and hes fifteen) i have been dating this guy for a year and a half now( hes my first) i love him with all my heart and he loves me more than that, not to mention he constantly brings me roses seranades me and any romantic thing you can think of however my parents disagree that he is good for me because they think he says that there horrible or mean or rude etc. which also makes them believe that he has no respect for them which is simply not true. He doesnt have the best manners because he was raised by a family that sees no value in them. My parents are very strict and want manners out of anybody i bring home so they dont like him for that either. they keep telling me to leave him and i cant stand it my boyfriend is a good person and is very kind he would never do anything to hurt anybody and even though hes not the most attractive guy in the bunch i would never be so shallow as my parents are coming off to be can anyone out there help me??? ive tried so hard and now its a matter of making them leave me alone about it HELP ME
