My grandmother was born in Denver, Colorado on February 3, 1930 and died on June 25, 1991. Her mother was Cecyle Deborah Caress (although most records say just Cecyle Caress). She was born on May 7, 1906 in Nebraska. She died on June 24, 1993, also in Nebraska.

Until recently, I have been told by my mom that Clarence Parker Rowe (born on November 25, 1890 in Rushville, Indiana and died on August 31, 1957 in Los Angeles, California) was Imogene's father. From thorough investigating, Clarence was in WWI, and thus lived in many places. He was missing in the 1930 Census, and that's when Imogene was born. She was living in a home with her mother and several other single mothers at the time. She was only a month old then.

Fast forward to the 1940 Census, where Clarence and Cecyle are married.

I am so confused. I have looked all online and couldn't find exactly what I need for this assignment. I need to have a user enter a certain amount of seconds (it can be any amount), and the for loop needs to print the subsequent seconds from there. For instance, if I type in 5 seconds, the console should print 4 seconds left, 3 seconds left, 2 seconds left, 1 second left, etc. And then it's supposed to say BAZINGA! (don't ask) It says the for loop needs to (from 1 - 10,000) represent 1 second.

If anybody can help, this is greatly appreciated! Oh, and this is in Java.

Okay, so I have this problem I have to do in Java, where I have to let the user input a series of numbers and compute values. Here's the catch. I need a While loop that will calculate the even numbers, but leave the odd numbers out. It's so confusing, mainly because I have no clue what I'm doing with these kinds of things. Here's what I have, but the code doesn't run the While loop, so I'm in a bit of a sticky situation. If someone could please explain what the **** I need to do. I can't seem to figure it out from my book or anywhere else for that matter. Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much!

So, I am taking Accounting 101 in College, and I just have a few problems with this financial statement that is missing some crucial information. I understand the accounting equation, but obviously not enough.

It lists 5 different companies where you have to find their liabilities on December 31, 2011; find their net income on December 31, 2010, and etc.

Well, the ones I am having problems with are:

What is the amount of equity on December 31, 2011?

What is the net income for year 2011?

The info from the chart for B is: December 31, 2010 - Assets ($35,000), Liabilities ($22,500) // December 31, 2011 - Assets ($41,000), Liabilities ($27,500) // During year 2011 - Owner investments ($1,500), Net income (?), Owner cash withdrawals ($3,000)

Company D:

Calculate the amount of owner investments for Company D during year 2011.

I have to take Zantac for my GERD, but my mouth is also hurting a lot (it has since I left the dentist), maybe it's from one of my wisdom teeth coming in (I don't know). So one time the dentist prescribed me Hydrocodone (but not this time) for the pain after getting a root canal. I was just wondering if I could take Hydrocodone after taking Zantac.

I heard that you didn't have to pay the $600 and something upfront, that you could go to AT&T or Verizon, blah blah blah, buy the iPhone, and still use it on Straight Talk. Is that true? And if so, how would I do it? I really want the iPhone but I want a cheaper way of getting it. Thank you!

I've never owned an iPhone before, and I am on Virgin Mobile right now. I've had this phone for two years, and while it is fairly decent, it is pretty slow.

Sprint overall seems to have the best plan as far as pricing, and that it's unlimited. But I hear Sprint is the slowest out of Verizon and AT&T.

I also hear that Verizon is forcing people onto shared plans, which I can't do. I just wanted one for myself.

And AT&T seemed to be the most expensive. Messing with the different options, I managed to rag the price up to $130.00, while for Verizon it was $111 and Sprint it was $110.

I just wanted to see if anyone who has had the iPhone 5, how is it? And what do you propose the best plan is?

Also, do you think the pre-paid plans are better? And if it helps, I live in Maryland. That might help with knowing how good the coverage is.

I know this basic information though:

I am heterozygous (Bb), because my dad is bb, and my mom is BB. My dad's parents both have blue eyes, so they are bb. Two parents with blue eyes cannot have a brown-eyed child, I know that. My mom's parents both have brown eyes, therefore she has brown eyes. So my dad is homozygous recessive, and my mom is homozygous dominant. Now for my boyfriend, his parents are the exact opposite. His dad has brown eyes, and his mom has blue eyes. I don't know what they are, sadly. But my boyfriend also has brown eyes (they look more amber though, and it is weird as his father has dark brown eyes). Now assuming his mother's parents both have blue eyes, and his father's parents both having brown eyes, he would also be Bb. What would be the probability of me and my boyfriend having a blue-eyed child, since we both (assumingly) have Bb.

This is what I have so far:

= a (x^2-4x+4)

= x^2-4x+4

I use WebAssign, and it is telling me that I am wrong. Can you tell me how to do the rest? I was having problems with the multiplying part.

Alright, so I never actually understood how to do long division with polynomials. To me, synthetic division is easier, but in this case, I can't use it because in the denominator, there is a number in front of x-c.

Here's the problem:

Two polynomials P and D are given. Use either synthetic or long division to divide P(x) by D(x), and express the quotient P(x)/D(x) in the form:

P(x)/D(x) = Q(x) + R(x)/D(x)

P(x) = 6x^2 − 3x − 13, D(x) = 3x − 1

This is what I got:

My hand has been asleep for the past 20-30 minutes, and it was because I was leaning on it for a little bit, but I have since then, tried to wake it up. I was shaking it for a while, tried to loosen my neck muscles (as that can be a cause of it), put it under cold water, and tried restoring the blood flow. I have gotten pins and needles, but then it just falls right back asleep. I don't know what to do and I have college in a few hours, and it is imperative that I am there. I can't just up and leave, and go to the doctors. It is quarter of five. Do you have any suggestions for me? I am getting worried because this is the first time that I have had this happen this long. Usually my hand is the EASIEST to wake up.

I am so confused.

My iPod Touch still works, but occasionally the "slide to power off" thing will pop up. When my iPod is on standby, I am required to put in my password, and before that sometimes it will flash white and come right back on. For a little while my volume thing wasn't working, and then it came back. I am not going to lie, I was probably using it for the next 15 minutes in the car, and then I read about the rice method, and stuck it in a bowl of rice, and covered it completely. Should I put the bowl in a specific place? And I was also wondering how long I should leave it in there for. My iPod was completely submerged, but I got it out right away. It was also in ice cold water, but got it out right away. And like I said, it was working, except for those minor glitches. And also should I change the rice every day that it is in there? Another thing, is there any way I can avoid getting any rice in my headphone jack?

And another thing, was that a good thing to do? Please, any advice would be helpful!

Okay, so my friend made a family of 8 Sims. She moved them into an empty lot and built a house. This probably took a couple of hours, and almost the whole lot is filled up. When she hit the Live mode button, there was a clicking sound like it did go to Live mode, but it stayed in Build mode. It lets her go to Build and Buy mode, but not Live mode. The Live mode stays highlighted when we click on it, but it is still in Build or Buy mode. We also cannot save. It is grayed out. We also tried clicking Edit Town to see if we could go there and save, but it just says that all unsaved changes will be lost, but it doesn't give any option to save. It just says Continue or Cancel. On another note, the save button says we cannot save in Buy/Build mode. I know that is not true, however, since I have done it several times before.

Another thing, I have all expansion packs, and NO custom content, because I know someone is going to mention that, as I have looked through several other forums to see if I could figure out the issue. But we are not finding anything relevant.

I also have pressed F1 and all the other F buttons. I have Alt-Tabbed (minimized) the game, and it still didn't work.

I don't know what to do. My friend worked super hard on building this house. I don't want her to lose it.

I am so sick and tired of these things! I think they have been in my house since October, but we couldn't really get rid of any of them because our garbage disposal is broken. It's getting fixed tomorrow but I think that is where they are coming and breeding from. My dad mopped the floor and we ran the dishwasher and gross stuff like that. So I don't think there are any spills. We tried leaving watermelon out in a bowl, but none of them were attracted to it!!!!!! They are also in our bathroom and a couple of them are in my bedroom! We even put watermelon in the bathroom and it didn't work!

Please, tell me anything you know that will get rid of these things! They are driving me off the wall!
