University of Glasgow study abroad grades?
Hi, I am an exchange student from University of Glasgow at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I am a bio major, being an exchange student I loaded up with 16 credits of bio courses, which are absolutely destroying my **** along with my grades. My academic advisor says I just need to pass all my subjects while having minimum grades in pre-requisites for next year. Thing is she refuses to tell me what these minimum grades are!!! She says that all exchange students at Glasgow receive a conditional offer, and after examining the transcript as a whole they will determine if I get in or not. But the thing is that the stress and the thought of not making it into next year is absolutely killing me!!! Can anyone help me out here? Does anyone know the process of what is good enough to get into third year genetics?
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)5 years agomasters degree in glasgow without having to complete a BSci.?
ie. i can get a masters if i do an extra year between years 3 and 4, making the total course worth 5 years. but at the end of it i will get a MSci and no BSci certificate, meaning that i get no BSci degree classification. my problem is that many Phd courses and employers look for a 2:1 or a first, but since i didnt get a BSci certificate i cant prove it to them. what should i do?

4 AnswersHigher Education (University +)6 years agoi am a 18 year old, i am in university doing a masters in genetics. i want to buy a flat.?
i can get a loan of £5k each year for next 3 years. my parents will be able to give me at least £15k in next 2 years. i want to buy a flat before i turn 21, and rent it. my idea is, if i buy the flat worth £125k and give ~25k upfront my installment is around £700 each month. if i am able to rent it out, i make ~£500 each month, and then i pay what i can and the rest comes from my father to make the total installment £700 each month. does this sound like a good idea? all opinions welcome, but no trolling pls
