I m currently in the military and every time someone screws up, we end up holding in a push up position with our butts up for long period of time. I can t seem to hold it for anymore than 30 seconds. My shoulder aches like mad and I had to dig very deep just to hold at least till the minute mark. But when the pain is too painful, I had to drop down to my knees. My Sergeant would see me do it and everyone has to start all over again because I m weak and I can t do it for long. It s sucks because I didnt screw up but I can t do the punishment that is given. Is there a way for me to hold it longer in a push up position? I don t like being blamed for something that I m not even able to do. I didn t choose to be here neither. It s a national service to my country.

I recently got into a course studying criminology for 3 years at a university. The reason why I picked criminology as a bachelor degree is to serve the criminal justice and mostly for the people who need help. I don't care about how much I will earn, I just want to help people out. Lately my fellow countrymen have been hinting me to drop out of the course and instead apply to other universities that are so called better. The other universities in my country do not offer criminology as to the one I'm in. The countrymen pester me about taking something that has a profession long term like an engineer or business analyst because of the school branding and higher salary since it's tier 1. The school that I wanted to attend to isn't so popular but it has the course that I want compared to the other schools with bigger branding when it comes to finding a job but has no relation to the course I want. They told me it's better to have more options as in studying engineering, you can work pretty much anywhere because it's a degree highly sought out for. You can even work at office with a good pay with that degree. Compared to criminology where you only have to find jobs that are related to police work. Should I stick with criminology cause I am passionate about what I want and not care about school branding or having less option? Or should I instead go to the more popular school and take up something like engineering which I hated since Ive graduated with a mechanical engineer diploma?

Okay I've went out with some friends and all that but lately I've been very bumped out that my friends never post anything about me on social media but are so quick to post about their friends instead of me. Not trying to sound like a loser but I'm closer to them than they think. I went to a game with a friend the other day, we took photos together but she didn't post any of it. And then suddenly the other day she went to another game at the same stadium with another guy and she posted a photo of him thanking him for being there with her. I feel underappreciated even though I took the liberty to hang out with her and had an awesome time. Not only her but there are plenty of other too who does that. Im not alone but I'm lonely you see.

Hi, I'm 22 this year. I'm about to serve the military for 2 years. And it has brought to my attention that Ive never had a girlfriend. I just want to forget about love and move on with life. Get into the military and come out to continue my studies to get a degree. Is it possible not to fall for anyone? I want to focus on my career and become the best version of myself without love. I just being alone. I find love rather exhausting because the girls I go out with never seem to cherish me. They just find me that guy who she met on social media. It sucks but my question is, how can I forget about love? I don't want to feel left out by a girl that I like who doesn't care about me but others instead

Recently I got in touched with a girl that I used to sort of like but back then I didn't realize how awesome and magnificent she was and instead didn't want to pursue her because I was afraid of being in a relationship . let's call her girl A. So I lied to her that I like girl B although I had a little crush with the girl B but I did that so I wouldn't tell my real feelings to girl A. I told girl B that I would take her out someday but didn't do so because I was confuse. And later she got a boyfriend. Then not long after girl A has a boyfriend too. So back to now, me and girl A went to a baseball game that we both support. The night after the game, it was like from the movie before sunrise. I could talk to her about anything and we were joking with each other. Never once was an awkward silence. I found my soul mate. But she has a boyfriend. Weird thing is though, she talks to me asking what happened with girl B and also ask me opinions about other guys having a crush on her. Is it a sign? Please help me guys. Should I tell her that I like her or not? I don't want to ruin the friendship. But I made a big mistake of not telling her honestly.

My father has a condition called anus abscess where he is unable to work because his butt hurts. So he's been jobless for almost 2 years now doing nothing but going around asking money from everyone. Even her own mother. I have no problem with him not working, however he asks for money from the family members to buy cigarettes. It's gotten so bad to point where he wants one quarter out of my $500 a month money when im in the military. That's like $125. Problem is, I'm planning to save that money up for a camera and future study in a university that I will be enrolling 2 years after. My dad doesn't understand that I have to pay my own phone bills, transportation fees and money to hangout with friends. If I gave him that 125, and also include all my expenses, I'm only left with 200 to save. So $200 x 12 is merely $2400. Which is barely enough to cover for the camera but not my uni studied. While I'm giving him 125 a month to buy cigarettes and smoke. I'm so sad. If there Muslim people out, do you know if I'm wrong not to give it to him? It's harmful for him and me

I'll cut all the bs. I know for one thing that I'm not attractive to the ladies. A little bit about myself. I'm Asian, 5'3 tall, 155 lbs. A little overweight but people consider me to be normal. I don't have any deformaty on my face or body. I don't smoke or drink(not that it's unhygienic). I get along with people very easily. Very cool and funny guy in the group. But no women has ever come up to me and say that I'm attractive or even shown any interest in me. Went to the club, to beaches even places where women will be and still no luck in finding one. I tried approaching them just trying to make friends but they were quick to push me away. And all my friends told me that I'm actually pretty good at talking but just that girls don't see me attractive. Even if the vibe was right. I don't blame my height or how unattractive I look like. I tried going for girls who were 4'11 and below. And yet no one finds a liking in me. I feel depressed because Im really unattractive and that no women find me good enough to at least let me be friend with them. I dress well too. Most of my friends are shocked that Ive never had a girlfriend because they find me such an awesome person to hang and talk with. Is something wrong with me?

I'm not even remotely interested on going up the stage and shake some persons hand for a piece of paper. The certificate can come anytime. I do however want to attend the graduation to cheer for my classmates and friends going up the stage. Am I weird? I'm attending my very own graduation but not actually joining the graduation ceremony. I'm not a fan of taking photos for achievements nor for memory. But everyone have been bugging me to attend it. Frankly it's really at the end of the day just a paper. It make no difference.

Graduating student from ngee ann witha gpa 3.25 might go lower since last semester quite hard. But with cca can maintain. Do i have a chance to applly to ntu with 3.25?

My dad is 48 years old. He hasn't been working for the past 2 years. He claims he is sick and he can't work but is able to go out and walkaround. He is not contributing anything to the household. My mum is the sole bread winner of the family. She pays for everything. I told my dad i wanted to work and earn money for myself to spend it on my graduation trip but he insisted i give half of my portion to him to buy cigarrates and lottery. My grandmother and grandfather ocassionally would give him money. It's embarrasing to see my dad at 48 being given money from his parents who aren't working. What should i do? No matter what i say, he never wants to work and dicuss it. He doesn't talk to me anymore because of the jncident

My dad has been jobless for 1 and a half year. My mum recently lost her job and now is working at a lower pay job to sustain the house and food. My dad would always ask my mum for money to buy cigarettes and gamble claming to use the money to buy groceries. My mum gave up on him. So i was talking nicely about finding a job and he went on about me that i should support him instead since i'm 21 but im still schooling. He keeps emphasizing on being muslim as i'm very sinful for asking him to work. And he cursed about being a very sinful child. All i did was tell hime nicely to find a job to support for his cigarettes and gambling but instead he told my grandma about it and now everyone hates me other than my mum and brother who sees what my dad does. He has anal abcess but he could go for operation to cure it but instead he doesn't want to. My speculation is that he's using it as an excuse not to find a job.

My dad verbally abuses me at home for no apprent reason. I was helping with the cooking and i washed the vegetable and some of the water dripped onto the floor, my dad scolded me and uses plenty of profanity at me. After cutting, i asked him where does he want the vegetable to be put and he again he scolded me,"use your fking brain mther fcker, there's a fking bowl over there you dumbass." It's pretty much like this everyday. I've lost all respect for him. He expects me to respect him but i don't respect human being who degrade others over small matters. He's jobless, has no friends and always hot headed as though no one should disrespect him. Big ego. I'm 21, still schooling. I have no money. What should i do?

So i went on a date with girl at starbucks and the whole time i had to talk her kr break the ice with her cause she never asks about me or anything about me. I always had to start the conversation or topic and her responses were **** and short. Plus she kept using her phone the whole time while i never once took out my phone. At the end of the day we parted ways and i asked her out on a 2nd a few weeks later to which she didn't respond. When i checked her twitter account, she claimed i was boring. How can i be boring i am the one who has to start the conversation and she did was use her phone and not talk to me at all!!!

Up till now i've never found a girl that would actually want to go out on a date with me. I'm not the best looking or tall but i date girls shorter than me of course and yet not even one would want to go out with me. I'm not being desperate, usually i befriend them for a few months before asking them out but it's mostly just to hangout to get to know her better but they almost all the time would reject it. And instead they go for asshole who have zero in life and try to flirt around with other girls. I'm a very genuinely positive and bubbly guy. It's usually the girls who are boring and i start the conversation but their response are always **** and then they brag about how boring am i.

My mum recently got fired from a high paying job and now she's working with minimum wage that could barely keep us up every month. me and my brother schooling. Now the big problem is that my dad isn't working. He doesn't want to find a job because he claims he's sick. Do note, he has no terminal illness and he is able to walk and do normal stuff like everyone else does. I kept pressuring him to find a job but he'd go all off on me and my brother being ungrateful to him for raising us. He's still able to walk and talk and do other stuff. He's only 47 ffs. Unless he has cancer or bed ridden, i can relate but if he's able to go out and buy cigarettes and go on about everywhere, why isn't he able yo find a job? And he told me to get my *** off and find a job myself. I wish i could but i have too many things going in school that i barely have time to work. My mum cannot be bothered by how irresponsible my dad is. She's been paying everything in this house for who knows how long and my dad is asking my mum for money to buy cigarettes and food to cook. I do however appreciate the cooking bit but the guy ask $30 from my mum to buy ingredients only to spend $10 on actual food and $20 on cigarettes and lottery. And fucked up part he's acting like an angel as if he's done a lot of ****. My grandma supports my dad decision to retire young. My mum doesn't mind being in such a mental state supporting 3 people because she emphasize on our education but the problem is my dad. Please help

What do you think i should focus on to attract girls? I'm not the best looking nor that tall. Pretty short actually. Should i focus on building wealth and career then find a girl or should i try to attract them by having more confidence asking them straight out. I have a problem with asking a random girl for her number. Usually only if i made friends with them or at least acquaintances would i ask them out. So how do we go about this? I've tried everything but i can't seem to find someone to like that likes me back. The girls that i like don't like me but the girl i don't like likes me. I mean i've passed up like 4-5 chances of getting into a relationship yet i'm begging for one. I don't know whats wrong with me. Whenever i like someone, they either have a boyfriend or are not into me at all. I'm trying to find the one girl that i can comfortable around with and not have to constantly feel like the heat is at the back of my neck. Okay so lately girls have been telling me that i'm cute and nice. But the problem is, what do they mean by cute? I'm not hitting on them, we just met as friends and i didn't flirt or do anything other than just chatting and this girl just straight up said you're cute. Then her sister said yeah, you're like super cute. Does this cute mean like a teddy bear cute? Or like actual cute guys like jesse mccartney? I suck at trying intemperate words. I don't drink, smoke, clubbing, go to parties etc. I can't live a life like that. Already 21 yet i still i can't find someone that to love and be in a relationship. There were some girls where i almost got into the dating stage but i choose not to since i don't see them to be in a for the near future. Only one girl rejected to hangout with me.
