  • Does anyone else have inconsistant problems with ATT billing? And find dealing with them a nightmare.?

I have att u-verse and have to admit that both the TV and Internet services are good. I agreed on a total price including taxes and all fees of $169 a month to get me away from Direct TV this was TV INTERNET and telephone. The first bill I got was $250. I hit the ceiling and they lowered it to $184 they said the representative that made me the $169 price made a mistake. After missing a day of work and the hassle of removing Direct TV I regrettably stayed with ATT. They promised me that it would be locked in for a year with no changes. I told them to give me there word once again that it would change because previous experience with their call centers was a nightmare, sometimes being on the phone for two or more hours being changed over four or more times and being hung up on while being changed over to another department. Even after blowing a gasket on the phone last month it went up to $194 the again bumped me up to $202 and they just aren't capable of telling the truth, or they have the most incompetent billing department in existence. If you are looking for integrity from a company ATT is not for you. I'm not a flake and I always pay prior to the bill date and have been a loyal customer for years! Talking to other ATT customers with similar problem with their TV, internet, home phone and cellular phone services, ATT just doesn't care about their customers.

  • Why do Republicans think that the Wealthy are the victims of the working poor?

Many republicans think that fair wages is a redistribution of wealth.

They also work so hard against the inheritance tax which only applies to less than half of one (0.5%) percent of the entire American Public.

  • How long will it be before the Republicans will try to abolish child labor laws?

They say that we can compete with anyone on the world market, that may be possible but they may need our children to get down to that level of competitiveness. How many years do you think it will take for a bill to pop up in congress trying to overturn child labor laws as far as further lowering wages and maximum amount of hour worked. Face it America, minimum wage even for adults is just way too much to compete in their new world order or their version of capitalism. In the next five years the right will have their disciples convinced that minimum wage is a redistribution of wealth.

  • How is John Boehners policies any different from Bush's policies, tax cuts and outsourcing, it doesn't work!?

For the past thirty years we have given tax breaks for the wealthy and allowed corporations to outsource our jobs for higher profits to cheap foreign labor markets, it has killed off our consumer base (the middle class) bankrupted the country with piles of debt to boot. Herbert Hoover tried this in the 20's, Ronald Reagan in the 80's and W in the 2000's and all failed, what makes the right wing think that the fourth time is the charm.

  • What % of the Republican do you think actually believe that Bush and the repubicans left us with a good econom?

Repeating lies out of hate or partisan is understandable, but actually believing that Bush and the Republican congress and senate had nothing to do with economic disaster is way beyond belief. McCain even before the election, put his campaign on hold to save the banks and failing car companies from the break of disaster. Will the Republicans ever take responsibility for their actions?

  • Looking back 30 years was Ronald Reagan right, was Greed Good for America and its people as a whole?

Looking at the quality of our lives in America, ability of one family member to work while the mother raised our children and being able to work 20-30 years and retire with a pension and healthcare, our jobs sitting in Foriegn Countires like China, India, etc. for our corporations to make record profits while our quality of life has taken a nosedive. Most of us have no job security and being able to retire one day with dignity is a American Dream, but probably unrealisic. Are we better off?

  • What are right wingers saying that Obama has the most liberal voting record in congress?

Are they trying to tell us that right wing policies have worked well for America, have they looked at the state of the economy, the war or our standing in the world with our former allies. I'm sure that the 82% that said that the nation is headed in the wrong direction, doesn't want to stay with the failed policies of the Republican Party. I won't think that they would want the complete opposite policies that got us were we are today. How stupid does the right think that America is?

  • Can anyone seriously put their hand on the Bible and honestly say that we are better off now than 8 years ago?

Attacked a country that had nothing to do with 911. Major companies like GM, Ford, Chrysler, Airline Industry etc, near bankruptcy. Bank failing. Sent 80% of manufacturing base to China and India. Record Home Foreclosures. Record Bankruptcies. Our integrity in the world has been trashed. Ten trillion dollar deficit. How can a TRUE CHRISTIAN claim that we are better off than we were eight years ago.

  • Why don't police officers show the compassion they did twenty years ago? Police Officers please respond.?

When I was growing up the police were there to serve and protect. They gave you a warning on your first mistake provided your weren't rude or arrogant, which I can understand if your are a jerk you deserve what you get. Today they seem to show no compassion they just start writing you up. My mother was being released from the hospital with liver cancer and I was on my way to pick her up in an unfamiliar surrounding, I was in the wrong lane trying to get to the right and with aggression he signaled me to the left, I took a left turn which I found out later was not permitted, he jumped in his cuiser and pulled me over, I told him my situation and ask him if he could let me off with a warning that I was on commission and having the worst financial shape in my life and the last thing I need now was additional expense. He told me, lets see, he ran my drivers license and saw they were no warrants or previous tickets and then came by and gave me a ticket, I asked him again could he be a nice guy and help me out and killed him with respect using only yes sir and no sir and then he was outraged and told me he should write me up for other charges that had no relavance, I admit I was intimidated by him and I was in a succuded area with no witnesses and was afraid for my safety, so I shut my mouth took the ticket and thank god I was beat up and charged for resisting arrest. I am a 51 year old man, clean cut and well mannered and also my second job is a Drivers Education Teacher and found that he was intimidating and at times out of control. What happened to nice guys I looked up to as a kid, that were kind and considerate. When I was young I did make some mistakes but they gave me warnings and you couldn't buy the respect that these police officers earned, instead of threats and intimiation of today. WHAT HAPPENED! My theory is that due to the rought economic times they are forced to right tickets for income to the city or state to meet quotos and by pass compassion and respect.

  • Was Stupidity confused with Patriotism after 911?

After 911 Stupidity became Patriotic. For several years after anyone who questioned stupidity was considered unpatriotic, accused of hating America, hating the troops and probably homosexual and Communist. As the economy went to hell and this administration shredded the Constitution, if you apposed any of their unlawful actions you were labeled one of the above, all while Iraq had nothing to do with 911 and from many insiders of the Bush administration it was fabricated.

Finally, people started to realize that stupidity wasn't working out that well and maybe letting stupid people run the country wasn't such a good thing. And now after seven years of relentless stupidity, non stupid people are finally beginning to assert the truth and not worrying about the insults and treats that they may in cure.

In November we have a chance to reverse stupid and get the bums out. But will we put McCain in there and will stupidity stage a comeback.

  • Do you think that the Obama hate that we are reading on the Election Blogg is a bunch of kids, just enoying us

They say outlandous things, have none of the issues reguarding raising a family or the future of themselves or their children or our country, just things about his preacher, the guy that attacked a police station when he was eight, videos of the star spangel banner passing it off as the pledge of alligence, flag pens, muslim, taking the oath on the Koran, he hates white people, etc. Do we have just a bunch of kids screwing with us?
