I am 16 years old and I was biking without a helmet on (california), and a cop pulled me over. So he gave me a ticket thing with "infraction" check-marked, and said that he would call the number I gave him to notify me about going to an OPTIONAL bicycling safety lesson... I signed it but after getting home I realized that the place I signed said "Without admitting guilt, I promise to appear at the time and place indicated below".... I HAD NO IDEA, HE JUST SAID I COULD GO TO A LESSON... I feel lied to now especially because he was extremely nice about everything. So an address, which i googled and found out is a court house, has been check-marked and there is a date. So does that mean I have to go to court? Do I have to pay a fine? He has my address now so is he going to mail a fine to us? I am so confused. I really didn't think such a big deal would be made about not wearing a helmet.

Can I use prime to detoxify nitrates after the cycle instead of doing a 70 percent water change? Because I bought my fish and I don't want to do a massive water change before putting them in because it'll take a long time

I have 1 male endler and 2 female endlers. they had babies recently but from what i can tell from looking at the color and the anal fin, all the 7 babies are female... what could cause this? is it the ph of my water?

I'm a guy, and sometimes when i go to pee, unless i'm bursting to pee, my pee will shoot to the side first and then i redirect and it goes straight.. why does the pee not come out straight in the first place?

How can I tell if my Endler Livebearers are pure or hybrid? I bought it from my lfs (not a chain store) and the one that i have talked to over the months, whom i trust very much, said that the endlers they carry are pure Endlers. from looking at pictures online and my male endler, i think mine is pure but can anyone tell me the characteristics of a pure endler male? and female?

I went on a trip to Florida for a week, about 2 weeks ago.. I got many mosquito bites and most of them are gone but i still have some that are not bumps (flat like any other skin) anymore, do not itch, but are just darker than the rest of my skin... what hapened? i don't remember this happening when i got mosquito bites when i was younger.. im 14 right now

Can I use aloe on my skin after using acne medicine containing benzoyle peroxide?

I accidentally poured chlorinated water into my 30 gallon aquarium.. I poured maybe about 1/2 gallon of water in before I realized I did not dechlorinate it. Do you think the bacteria in my filter will be ok? Is it possible that they died? What can I do in this situation?

I think I might be slightly lactose intolerant because recently after drinking milk often, I fart a lot.. and I mean a LOT. I am 14 so I still want to grow taller and drinking milk will help me with that.. If lactose intolerance is my problem, I still want to consume all the same vitamins and minerals regular milk has.

Why? When I eat Ice cream or cheese, the farting is nowhere near as noticeable as when i drink milk..

what's my problem? I'm only 14.

One of my Turquoise Rainbows got freaked out when I put my hand in the tank, and I think he hit his head against something in the tank. :( now he has two scales only partly attached to him, and it looks kinda gross. What can I do for him to make it heal faster?
