I m using an yr old Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard but the wireless mouse scroll-wheel is not working, so im ordering a new dell wireless mouse . can the old Bluetooth or dongle or receptor or whatever u call it be compatible with the new dell mouse ? any suggestions ?

If i sold a joint property and recd the cheque in a single name and kept the cheque on an account with my single name , what could be the tax implications ?

My father and I brought a shop in the year Nov 1998, from his money I was the 2nd joint holder . Papa died in the year 2001 , I gave his share to our mother , my brother was fine giving up his rights. Now we sold the shop and the cheque recd was kept in my savings account , not mom. She didnt want the 50% share in Money. Now who pays the Capital Gains , what are the implications of keeping the sale consideration only in my savings account.
