Does a balloon filled with hydrogen gas or a balloon filled with helium gas deflate faster?
I would do the experiment myself if I had the things. :/
Anyway, I think that a balloon filled with helium will deflate faster because
1) Smaller size due to it having 2 electrons, hence it can easily escape the balloon and;
2) It is a monatomic element, unlike hydrogen gas which exists as molecules made out of 2 hydrogen atoms. Hence, the helium balloon will still deflate faster because it is smaller.
However, the RAM of helium gas is 4, and for hydrogen gas it's 2. Hence, the hydrogen balloon will deflate faster as it has a smaller RAM, which means faster speed, hence the hydrogen balloon will deflate faster.
So what's the answer?

Possible to prove? Or is it just a 'rule'?
1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoRealignment vs Resectioning in preventing flooding?
Which do you think is more efficient in preventing flooding?
I know realignment is the straightening of meandering river courses, which makes the speed of flow go faster and reduces flooding, but downstream areas might get more floods.
Resectioning is the widening and deepening of the river to increase capacity, but uses lots of manpower and resources.
Which is better and more efficient?
1 AnswerGeography9 years agoAntiderivative of 1/u^(1/3)?
http://i40.tinypic.com/f418jp.png
Since the derivative of ln(x) is 1/x, it follows that the antiderivative of 1/x is ln(x).
Which probably means that the antiderivative of 1/u^(1/3) is ln[1/u^(1/3)], like the picture provided.
But my answer says that it is incorrect, why? They changed it to u^(-1/3) and used the power rule of integration.
Does the ln(x) only work when the polynomial is of degree -1?
4 AnswersMathematics9 years agoCompute lim x->inf (x - sqrt[x^2+7])?
Is it possible to use the L'Hopital's rule? I think it's possible, since you get Infinity - Infinity.
The answer sheet says it's 0, but I got 1.

3 AnswersLanguages10 years agoTreating Scoliosis without Braces/Surgery?
I have a friend who is 14 years old and he has mild scoliosis. She's scared of going for surgeries or wearing a heavy brace.
1) Can good posture improve scoliosis?
2) What exercises are recommended? (She can't swim)
3) Will scoliosis still get worse even after fully maturing? (i.e. when she's an adult and the body stops growing)
4) Her curvature is towards her left side. Should she place her schoolbag weight towards the left or the right?
5) Will the curve get "fixed" on its own over time if there is continuous good posture?

I had a website once, but it stopped working. :/
I would appreciate if it is a step-by-step guide, like for example, starting at Integer Axioms first, then slowly moving up to higher difficulties.

A container which is equally divided into two, contains 2 substances, substance A and substance B. The box has the SAME density as the liquid. Substance A is has a density of 1kg/m^3. Substance B has a density of -1kg/m^3. If the box was submerged in the middle of the liquid, will the box float, sink, or stay there? Also, assume that the buoyancy of the liquid has the same strength as gravity.
