Boring old fart.

  • How do you remove a tag from a picture in FaceBook?

I was just messing with a couple pictures in my FB and tried to tag my Dog's name and wound up with some other random dude with a similar name.

Now I can't figure out how to remove the darn thing.

    Any help?

  • Is there still a cigar lounge in Downtown Disney?

We will be visiting Disney in Orlando some time soon and I would like to relax at the same cigar lounge I enjoyed the last time I was there.

I can't seem to find info on it. Is it still there?

  • Why are the ads so loud in Pandora?

I contacted them to find out and they keep giving me some lame suggestions like the following and not one of them would have any impact at all on the difference in volume.

    1. Update Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/update/

    2. Clear your Cookies, Cache, and History. http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-fire...

    3. Disable Adblock, Flashblock, and NoScript Extensions.

    4. Make sure you are accepting cookies from Pandora:

    - Click on Firefox and select Preferences (On Windows select Options)

    - Select the Privacy tab.

    - Under History, next to Firefox will, make sure it's set to Use custom settings for history.

    - Make sure Accept cookies from sites is checked, and click on Exceptions.

    - Enter *.pandora.com in the Address of the website field and click on Allow.

    - Click Close on that menu and then click OK to close the Preferences menu.

    5. Install the latest version of the Flash player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

    6. If you are using an internet firewall or anti-virus program, it could be blocking portions of our site. Try allowing access to www.pandora.com within those programs, and then try visiting our site again. If this doesn't help, then try disabling such programs entirely as a test to see if this affects your issue.

    7. Try opening Pandora in an alternative browser like Chrome to see if you have any more luck.

    8. Finally, if the issue persists, try rebooting your computer and returning to http://www.pandora.com/

Let me know how it goes.

  • Do any college programming students do their own work?

I am pretty proficient in several programming languages and have been looking through here a lot the last few days for the purpose of maybe helping out some people with legitimate needs. I have been able to give some help here and there and I am happy to help with the legit needs.

What I have noticed though is that it seems like more than 90% of the programming questions are from students who haven't bothered to open a text book or Google to do actual research for their projects and choose to just post their assignments here verbatim and expect people here to do the work for them.

Do they not realize how pathetic it looks?

Can't they at least try to do some of their own work and ask for some pointers from the samples they post?

I will probably lose points over this question and have it removed but I can't keep on going without bringing this up.
