So I ve been with my boyfriend for 7 years and we recent got engaged. It s my 25th birthday tomorrow and I can honestly say for the last 7 years of having a birthday he has never ever planned one thing for us to do and I just about get a card on my birthday and maybe if I m lucky I get some flowers, if I m lucky! Am I being selfish wanting more from him on my birthday and our anniversaries? I always plan and pay for everything on his birthday and always get him the best presents. Not that it s all about material things, I want him to just put some thought into things!

Our landlord has just come to our house and started peering through our window. He then kept knocking on the door and demanded my boyfriend let her in the house to measure the sink. Previous to this we had told the agents that we didn't have time and she could do it when we move out in 6 days time. The landlord came round demanding yhis was unreasonable and she wanted in now. Boyfriend felt very uncomfortable and let her in. Anything we can do about it? Really angry!!

We are looking to buy a house and have a little money saved up. I know there's more schemes trying to get people to buy but we have no clue what we are doing with it. It's so difficult. How can people afford to buy houses for the first time? We have spotted our fav house but just cannot get a mortgage together? Any advice? Going to a mortgage advisor this week to discuss but don't know were the best deals are. Thanks

We have had our puppy for 3 months and she goes to bed ok but during the night around 4am she barks until we go to her. We live in terrace houses and the neighbours have been complaining about her barking. What should we do?

So I've been with him for 6 years and he's spent two of me being a chef. I was so glad he found something he likes but now we are thinking of a family and a mortgage and marriage but I don't know if that's the right thing. I only see him one evening a week now because of this job and he's made it clear that isn't changing. It's breaking my heart not seeing him but he just doesn't take me seriously because he says I always threaten to leave and never do. It's because I love him not because I want to scare him. What should I do? Should I cut my loses and find someone that I can actually spend my life with and not just see one evening a week? I'm a teacher and our hours just don't match. I'm so jealous seeing my friends make plans with their boyfriends but I never see mine.

My car got broken into and they stole my Republic of Ireland driving licence. I live in the uk and don't know what to do. I cannot get home to get irish one replaced for a few weeks and I presume I can't get a uk one until I hand in my old one? Anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks

We have been together for 6 years now and have lived together for 4 of them. I know he eventually does want to marry me and we are both crazy in love still. We even went engagement ring shopping and I have picked out my dream ring and he tried on wedding rings. I am just not sure why he won't or haven't proposed yet. So it's the night before I'm due to fly home and having been diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago I desperately need family time. I have now realised I have lost my passport and can't fly tomorrow ace can't afford any other flights or ferry. Have no family in England so will be spending christmas and New Years alone. Can't think of anything worse. Have never felt this low.

We have had issues with horrendous noise and music from next door. Long story short we have to move as I am on sleeping and anxiety tablets from how loud they are causing lack of sleep. I'm a teacher and can't work properly because I'm so exhausted. Their landlord said he isn't doing anything because he needs his money, which I do understand. We have had council and police involved for months but they said only the landlord can evict them. Can I sue him? In our contract it says we and our landlord have a duty of care to ensure we are not a nuisance to anyone around us and I'm sure there's is the same. Anything I can do? Loosing the will to live here! We have been reporting our neighbours because of their constant parties and music at 6.30 am for the last 2 months. Police and council say it's up to their landlord but the landlord has told me last night he will not be evicting them because he needs the mortgage paid, which I understand but there's 5 houses complaining about these boys. They are aggressively onwards me threatening me with an axe when I said I would report them, we have a new born in the house. There's something funny going on in there with several people living in a small house and partying until all hours. We want to leave the house because I teach and I'm exhausted all day because of the noise. Basically we have tried every single thing and they won't be evicted. Can we now leave our contract? We are in our second month of a 6 month contract and cannot take anymore. Im so stressed out because of all this. We are arranging viewings this week for other houses but what are our chances of getting out and getting our deposit back? Our agent is coming to discuss it tomorrow. Help please!!!

Feel terrible and will never ever do this again. I have an Irish licence but live in UK. Can they apply the points for the second offence to my licence? Help! Thanks! Lesson learned 😞

Ok so my mums had it hard with a messy divorce because of violence and cheating and we want to make her 50th very special. We are going to Spain for a week next summer but what kind of present could I get her? She's already doing a spa thing with her sisters so we don't know what to do.
