No, not new orleans. Actual highest murder rate among all cities, not just those with over 75k people. The highest i know of is east st louis, illinois with a little over 100 per 100,000. Which is unbelievable if you think about it. In ten years, more than 1% of their entire population will have been murdered.

I'm very interest in criminal behavior, more the sociological aspect than the psychological aspect (which is still fascinating). What are some careers in the field or possible graduate degree paths that could lead to jobs? Is getting a job with government agencies in the field incredible competitive or doable? Would I be better of with a different bachelors degree and then do criminology in the masters level? thanks, any help appreciated

i got sick of hanging out in the back of parking lots smoking glass bowls, so i started packing weed into cigs so i dont have to feel like a meth head. I feel like i haven't been getting as high. does the cig filter absorb some of the thc?

I don't really listen to punk, or even much rock but i love the violent femmes. When i say this I mean pretty much only their first album, which is the greatest piece of art of all time (this coming from I guy who listens to 95% hip hop). Any other bands, hip hop or rock, that have similair emotional charged sexual frustration songs. I'm going to label it "dude rock."

If I apply before early decision, will I automatically be counted as early decision, or is there a separate process? I just want to apply early, but I don't plan on doing any early decision admissions.

I'm from Minnesota, would a school in south carolina or Virginia rather have me than a kid in Kentucky or North Carolina? I understand that with public schools it's detrimental to be out of state, but will it be not as bad if im from a state where only 2 kids attended the school last year?

I have a 3.0 GPA and a 31 ACT. My course work is very difficult and i've taken a few APs. I have very strong extra circulars (editor of the newspaper, in many clubs, leadership roles, etc...) I'm white, live in Minnesota and i'm not first generation. So basically what im asking is, does anything on this list jump out as "Yeah right, keep dreaming" or "you can do better than that." Also I'll be applying as an english major.
