  • PASMO/SUICA available at Shinsen Station?

May I know if the PASMO/SUICA is available for sale at the Shinsen Station? We'd like to get for 3 adults and 1 child below 12. And is the Tokyo Combination Ticket which costs 1580yen is available for sale there too? Not sure if the ticket actually covers this line.

We'll be staying at an apartment 4minutes from Shinsen and 10minutes from Shibuya. Thanks a lot.

  • Haneda to Shibuya in the wee hours of the morning?

I'll be touching down at Haneda at 11.35pm. After collecting luggage, customs, etc, I assume I'll be done only at about 1am. I understand the trains are closed by then. I searched for some information on the airport website and found that there is a bus that runs from 12am to 4.59am from Haneda bus stop no.6 to Shibuya Station west exit. Could someone verify that this is indeed valid? Thanks a lot.

  • Skiing day trip in Melbourne?

I'm interested in a day trip to a skiing resort in Melbourne. There are only the 2 of us and this will be our first time in Melbourne. Can someone recommend the nearest, most convenient and most affordable place. I've never skied before and would just like to experience snow. It would be great if you can give me the directions (via public transport), approximate cost.. etc. Hope this is not too much to ask. Thanks a lot...

  • Getting to Harbin, China from Penang, Malaysia via D.I.Y?

Me and another friend is planning a trip to Harbin, China during February 2009. We heard that we can get cheaper flights if we fly to a nearer place in China (i.e. Guangzhou or Shanghai) and then buy local domestic flight to Harbin, maybe from China Southern Airlines.

    1) Is it true? If it is, can you recommend the place to fly to as the first stop (i.e. Guangzhou, Shanghai, etc..)

    2) What is the approximate costs for the local flight to Harbin?

    3) Is February considered peak period? Which months would we get cheapest flights?

    4) Is it advisable to book there and then when we arrive? And how do we go about doing that?

Thanks so very much if anyone can help me.
