  • Am I being too submissive?

I moved into an apartment a couple of months ago with my boyfriend and his mum. I was promised that I could bring my cat over when we had settled in. I asked my boyfriend the other day when i can bring him over and he said that i couldn't bring him over because his mum thinks that she would have to take care of him. I understand where she is coming from, but I have said that it is my cat, my responsibility. At this point, I'm walking her dog at night when she's at work, not that I mind, but it doesn't make sense that I can't have my cat that she won't even have to look at when I walk her dog for her. I would also understand not having the cat because we already have a mouse, but I suffer from anxiety and having my cats at my old home really helped me. Now all we have is this dog that hides in his room and a mouse. Obviously, that's not doing it for me and It's really starting to hurt me emotionally. I've tried to stay strong, but now I'm not doing so well at it. What do I do? Please no rude comments, I know some people think anxiety is for the weak, but It's a horrible thing that most of the country suffer with.

  • Should I use leg protection on my dressage horse?

I was looking in to buying him the professional's choice set of four medicine boots and the quick wrap bell boots. as far as the bell boots, he does tend to rip off a shoe mid-trot, so do the ballistic bell boots or quick wrap bell boots work better? as far as the medicine boots, he has navicular (I don't know if that will help or not) and he tends to trip a little in the canter or come down to hard from the canter to trot transition. I was thinking of putting some support on his legs to help him. he's pretty balanced for the most part, but he can get fast. I don't know whether that is just is personality or he's doing that because he's lacking support? and no, I am not hurting him. trust me, I tried to retire him when I found out he had minor navicular, but he was going crazy not being ridden. and yes, he has been cleared to do up to level two dressage.

  • I've lost my confidence, please help me?

First off, please don't put harsh comments. I love riding and I love my two horses, but recently, I've just completely lost my confidence. I've always been unconfident, but it's just progressively gotten worse. I used to be able to jump three foot, ride any horse I was given a chance to ride, and I used to ride bareback nearly all the time. Now, I just can't do anything like that. I got a horse that boosted my confidence for a while, but I found out that he has navicular and I can no longer use him for anything other than walk, trot, and light cantering dressage. My other horse is older and doesn't really want to do anything but kick out until she gives up. I don't really know what i'm trying to accomplish here, but watching everyone around me jumping and showing nearly everyone weekend has really hit me hard. Everytime i'm in the arena, I want to take the jumps, but I remember that my horse can't do it and even if he could, getting thrown into the jump by another horse traumatized me. does anyone know any way of helping me or should I just accept the fact that i'm not cut out for this sport? I'm sorry to sound sorry for myself, but I just don't know what to do.

  • Recommendations on BL manga?

Please don't judge, I'm looking to read a good bl manga that's not way over the top. I liked junjou romantica and sekai-ichi hatsukoi. Gakuen heaven wasn't that bad either. so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

  • Stomach issues, please help!?

I know I've had bad stomach for a couple of years now, but I don't know what to do about it. recently, it's been getting worse. about two months ago, I was in the ER for intense cramping. all they did was give me medication and sent me back out again. in the past month, I've been getting slightly nauseas everyday about three times a day and I get really tired with headaches (I don't know if it's related or not). then, every now and then, my stomach cramps up a bit and it is slightly painful, but more uncomfortable. I have vomited once, but that was a while ago. In the past couple of days, I've been getting bad heartburn at night. what should I do about it? I don't really have the time or money for a doctor's visit. does this sound like anything I can fix?

PS: i'm 95% sure I'm not pregnant, so I know this isn't anything to do with pregnancy.

  • I just want to be happy?

I have recently turned legal age and I want to get a couple piercing, tattoos, and go up another size on my gauges. My mom and sister keep yelling at me that I've changed ever since I've started going out with my boyfriend. but, I know I haven't changed, I've simply become the person I've always wanted to be and finally have someone else to accept it. I've gauged my ears and started smoking. ok, so it's not everyone's idea of being happy, but I love it! I just don't know how to get my family to accept me. I mean, I know that being 18 doesn't automatically make me mature, but shouldn't they accept the fact that I am 18 and have the right to make my own decisions? if so, how do I get them to stop bullying me (yes, bullying) about doing what I like

  • Zoo Photography Opportunity?

I'm am really big into photography and I would love to have the opportunity to get up close and personal to animals in order to get a great photo. I know that Dartmoor zoo do something exactly like this, but I can't afford the trip to England. Does anyone know of any place in the United States or Canada (preferably the US) that this opportunity is available?
