  • Easy question - are these good A-levels to choose?

Ok, so I am thinking of doing these A levels. Chemistry, biology, English language and geography. Are these good a-levels to possibly go into veterinary science or medicine? I am predicted A's and A*'s in english language and geography but science only a B. So far I have got these but have had a D in additional science (which thankfully didn't count towards much) so is this a wise choice? And is it hard for someone of my ability? thanks

  • how should i get my hair cut?

my hair length is currently down to my ribs, and my fringe is kinda grown out on the side parting brushed across. if the fringe was straight down it would be to my jaw. my face shape is a 'box' shape but not as bad. i wanted the same kind of fringe but shorter, length trimmed so it would be on my chest and long layers. what do you think? i don't mind any hairstyle that would think would suit. my hair is blonde if that helps. sorry for bad description, my hair is difficult to describe lol. thanks in advance.

  • Some schooling issues?

When I school my 12-year-old horse, he is quite stiff in his neck and on bends he won't curve around properly. Longitudinally, he's really quite supple but for flexion left to right in his neck (and consequently through his body) he is a little resistant. Also, he changes his rhythm all the time so it's like slow fast slow fast. And the final problem is downward transitions. He falls onto the forehand and drags me down with him.

    Only experienced people's answers please.

  • Do you think rollkur is cruel?

Is it actually as bad as it seems? Is it true it damages the horse's muscles and is unnatural? Also I would love to hear what other opinions on issues in the horse world, anything at all!

  • what does 'best ridden' in showing mean?

Is it the judged on the rider's postion and aids? Or is it how the horse moves with a rider? Sorry, if these suggestions are both wrong, I am an eventer and have never showed before :|

  • How to entertain my pony on box rest?

My pony has laminitis (please do not critisise me - she is old and never had laminitis before and we have been very careful. It was possibly cushings disease so hopefully not due to bad management). Any suggestions? For obvious reasons she can't go out or have any high-calorie treats.

  • What is your opinion on natural horsemanship?

Have you any good (or bad) experiences based around any natural horsemanship? Or maybe just your general opinion? I am open to new things, and I am willing to try it with my horse if it works.

  • Two problems (20characters) ?

my 13.1hh pony daisy and 15.2hh Tb harry are really close and have trouble separating them. daisy doesn't really mind being away from harry but harry does. because harry is a Tb he loses weight really easily and needs more energy from the grass but daisy gets really fat (they share a field). how can i make harry settle on his own (being with other horses isn't really an option).

also, i have to sell daisy very soon and i dont know how harry will cope, i was thinking of getting one of those companion ponies from a rescue centre (a gelding this time obvs...). what do you think?

  • Two questions to answer?

    1. how do you see bot eggs on grey horses?

    2. how do you become a coach for a international event rider? I am considering my career options and this sounds like something I would like to do. I do have a lot of experience with horses and riding already btw.
