  • What's the number on the front of the Halo 4 Limited Edition?

I know that 343 said that the players are canon now and our individual Spartan-IV's are part of the lore, but is the number on the front of the Limited Edition our official Spartan number? No body's ever mentioned it, but I think it makes sense.

I mean, why else would it be right on the front there? If anyone has any insight or further explenation I'd appreciate it.

  • Will my anxiety disorder ever go away?

I've had an anxiety disorder my entire life. I worry all the time. Sometimes I would sprint home from my friend's houses because I would have an anxiety attack, and then I would get made fun of. It's ruined my life. Every time I think about going to bed I get anxiety attacks.

I'm 19 now and it's still ruining my life.

Is there any way I can permanently get rid of my disorder? Forever? And to where it never comes back? I'll do almost anything. Please help me. Please. Help me.

  • Is it true that the military can check your medical record?

What about at MEPS? I've heard that they can check everything about your medical record, and I've heard they only know what you bring with you, so which is true?

I know they can check your criminal record, but what about medical?

  • I heard that Marines can get anxiety meds while in the U.S.M.C.?

I have heard on here that Marines have gotten medication for anxiety/depression while still serving. I thought that the need medication was disqualifying? Wouldn't they get discharged?

What if someone had a pre existing condition, passed Boot Camp and AIT without any problems, and then their condition came back while enlisted? Would they be discharged or court martialed or anything? Or would they simply tell someone and get medication?

    I'm really confused.

  • Can I get into the military if I used to take to celexa?

If I took Celexa for anxiety (for fewer than 3 months) and if I have functioned for a year without it, will I be disqualified from military service because celexa treats depression too?

I never used it for depression, and I have never had problems with depression, so will I be disqualified because celexa is also used for depression by some people?

  • Can you be taking anti-anxiety medication in the National Guard?

I'm not on any medication yet, but I will be, can you get into the National Guard with anti-anxiety/panic medication?

  • Question about Army and medication?

If I take medication for anxiety attacks/panic attacks, and then ween myself off of it, then go at least 12 months without taking it or having any anxiety attacks/panic attacks, can I get into the Army?

I'm not necessarily looking for a combat job, so I would appreciate it if I didn't get any "and risk everyone's lives in the field?" comments.

Thank you, this is a huge dream of mine.

  • Question about past? (military)?

When I was about 15-16 I panicked, and called 911 about meningitis (I was a stupid kid, I'm 19 now) because I thought I had the symptoms for it. They send over a medic and everything worked out. Do they have this on record and would this keep me from enlisting? Like, would they think this was something that would happen when I joined? There was an ambulance there, and a fire engine and crap, so would they have this on record and use it to prevent me from joining?

I don't have panic attacks, I was just really frightened that day because some kids at my school had it, so I thought I would get it from them. It was a one time thing. I never used any medication in my life......so if I didn't mention what happened would I possibly be court martialed if I got in?

  • Did American and Russian troops fight each-other at all during the Cold War?

I know that the Cold War was more words than anything else, but was there ever a small skirmish between American and Russian troops during the Cold War?

Say, for example, small firefights that didn't really have much effect? Perhaps in say, Korea or Vietnam? I was quite curious about this.

  • How do I improve my push-ups/sit ups?

I want to join the Army Rangers, and they have high physical standards. I won't be joining for a year, so that should give me some time. At most I can do about 35, some of them don't go all the way to the ground because I have trouble going all the way down. From then on I don't actually do a full push-up, it gets too hard.

So how do I improve this? Am I not using the correct form?

Also, how do I get used to the difficult environments the Army Rangers put you through in RASP?

  • In Army boot camp, can you pause while doing push-ups?

For instance, can you do 30, stop for a few seconds, then start again?

Or do you have to do 42 straight through?

What about Airborne training? Are they pretty harsh about the push-ups and make you do them Straight through without stopping?

    What about RASP?

Just curious. I heard you could stop in between for a few seconds before.

I'd rather Airborne Army soldiers answer this, or former Army soldiers. Thanks guys.

  • Can I get a 110 score (GT) or above score on the ASVAB?

I want to be an Army Ranger (Yes, definitely sure. I'm not under 18 by the way) and I've studied how to achieve that quite a bit. I have been starting to work out, and by the time I enlist I should be pretty good physically.

But you need a 110 score in GT on the ASVAB...is that extremely hard? How do I prepare for it?

    Thanks guys.

  • Do I need a certain ASVAB score to be Airborne in the Army?

I know that the Rangers and Special Forces have high ASVAB scores, but does anyone know the ASVAB score (if there is one) needed to be Airborne? I want to be an Airborne paratrooper in the Army, it's a dream of mine.

  • Why does my laptop say it's "attempting repairs" but it never stops?

Whenever my laptop starts it has a black screen that says "Startup repair: Attempting repairs" with a blue loading bar, but it never stops. It stays on the start-up repair for hours and hours and it NEVER EVER stops attempting to repair it. I think it's a virus because this has been going on for weeks.

If it were really attempting repairs, wouldn't it let me at least go to the desktop? It doesn't. It doesn't ever stop attempting the repairs. I try canceling it by exiting off or clicking cancel, but all it says is "The current repair operation cannot be canceled"

Please help! Thank you so much!

  • Questions about the Army Airborne and the 82nd?

First things first, can I get Airborne in my contract?

Second, How hard is Airborne school?

Also, if I go 11B and finish Airborne school, will I be assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division?

If it's not guaranteed, how do I get into the 82nd?

  • Questions about the Marines downsizing?

I know that after the war in Afghanistan is over the Marine Corps is going to downsize a lot.

I won't be joining until I'm 21 which is in about 2 or 3 years. I want to be in the Armor field, but because I won't be joining until then.

Will it be hard to get into the Marines by then?

    What about getting into 18xx?

Will I be able to re-enlist?

    Some other questions are:

How do I switch from Pacific Marine/Navy Federal to the USAA?

Also, I was told that I could get PFC (E-2) if I have 15 college units, which I do. How can I prove to the recruiter that I have these units? How can I guarantee the 15 units in my contract?

  • Why does everyone say that Marine infantry life is awful?

    Just curious.

I'm not even joining Infantry, probably Armor, but I'd like to know what the reasoning is behind this.
