9 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agochanging of the guard?
This year in the Cup series it appears that the new crop of drivers are becomming the top dogs. Busch, Edwards, Kahne vs Gordon, Stewart, Kenseth. The first three guys i named all came into the sport 3-4 years ago and they have won the most races this year while the later guys are putting up the numbers we use to. Are we seeing the "changing of the guard" or will one of the seasoned vets make a surge during the second half of the season.

9 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhere will Stewart race when he leaves Joe Gibbs Racing?
There were a few times last year when Stewart spoke out against toyota being in Nascar. Now that JGR switched It is almost certain Stewart will leave when his contract is up at the end of the 2009 season. So what team do you see him driving for or will he retire?
30 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoHas the addition of Toyota, COT, and influx of Open Wheelers......?
changed your view of Nascar, Either for the better or worse.
In my opinion I feel Nascar has joined the Greedy Train. It is clear that they are doing alot to attract International Attention, I've never seen a stock Chevy, Dodge, or Ford with a wing on it(aside from the 60's and 70's). Toyota is loaded with money but it destroys the name, I dont care how many people say Toyota is made in the U.S. they are owned by a Japanese Corporation. The addition of Toyota has been the biggest negative, I know alot of former fans who have abandoned there love for the sport.

This college football year has been hectic but now that the bowl games are nearly complete the truth is evident.
The teams that were projected to be the top dogs in August are showing they still have it and the WAC is shown that last years Boise State win was a great story but not a sign of the strength of the conference.
So why didn't Georgia play USC in a bowl game, That could have been the best bowl game of the year and it would have had significant impact on the AP National Champ. And when Oklahoma rolls on WV and LSU rolls on Ohio State, a potential playoff setup is clearly in place. Oh well just another reason for college football to take a backseat to NFL.
