  • Curling hair for prom?

My prom is tomorrow, and I've decided on curling my hair. They're pretty small curlers, so here's my question: If I put the curlers in right after I've taken a shower and take them out after my hair is dry, will the curls stay in all day? (I'll probably take them out about 3ish, prom ends at 11). My hair is a little longer than shoulder length, straight, and medium thickness.

*I have no intention of using hairspray (or mousse, for that matter). I don't have hair products, I just want to know how long they'll stay in.

  • What is a good song to sing/play piano with for a high school talent show?

I'm a female mezzo-soprano (best around the F-C above middle C), and I can't decide. The audience responds more positively to a funny song (last year I did "The Saga Begins" by Weird Al), but they don't really show off your voice. I had a few ideas, both funny and serious.

"When You're Gone" by Avril Lavigne

"Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel

"That's How You Know" from Enchanted

"E-Bay" by Weird Al (but I did Weird Al last year...)

"The Presidents Song" by the Animaniacs (oh, memories)

"Good'N'Evil" or "No One Knows Who I Am" from Jekyll and Hyde

As you can tell, I like musicals. ;) My voice is kind of high-sounding, and I would like to play the piano with it. I can play almost any piano part, so that's not a problem. If I were to do a serious one, it would be a slow/pretty song. Any suggestion would be fine! (Just don't say "Popular". It's far too overdone.)
