Just signed in to Yahoo Mail and notice at the top my list of emails strange one line adverts. They change each time I come back to the in box. There is a $ sign followed by different companies, eg. Trivago; LifeCellSkin; O2 etc. How can I get rid of them?

My Yahoo email account seems to have morphed overnight, what happened? Is there anyway of getting the old style back again?

When I type in my email address my password is automatically remembered, even though I've unticked the little box. Is there a way I can stop this happening?

Anyone know why the log in activity on Yahoo isn't working? I share a computer and like to check that no one else has logged in to email account and found this facility very handy, but its not worked since 11 December 2011. I've emailed Yahoo on several occasions and they are "looking into it", but I've not heard anything since.

Any suggestions appreciated.

My friend has just got a Yahoo email account and has added me to his contact list but I'm not showing as online when he signs into his email account even though I'm online. He is showing on my online contacts though and we can still chat. How can he get me to show on his online contacts when he signs into his email account?

I didn't do anything, just added him to my contacts address book. I'm not talking about Yahoo Chat, just Yahoo Email.

I wanted to send my nephew a netbook for his birthday. He lives in New Zealand and I need to know if it would connect to the internet over there.

Is there anyway I can close the advertisements on the right hand of my screen. When I open my emails the advertisement takes up so much room I can't read my emails properly. Its a pain.

During the early part of the week I was having problem actually getting into my email account from the Yahoo Home Page. I switched the from classic version to the newer version but I just don't like it. Is there anyway of changing my account back to the classic Yahoo?

Never had a problem printing with this machine until recently. It prints the pages but the type is so faint I can't read it. I've changed both ink cartridges and it still doesn't print properly.

How can I work out how much VAT I have paid on a gross figure? eg: gross figure is £39.36 how much vat have I paid and how do I work it out?

I've installed the software of this adaptor, but for some reason it just doesn't want to connect to my mobile phone, the phone icon does come up but the connection fails. What am I doing wrong?

My son's mac went belly up last week and needed a new internal hard drive, result is that he lost his design programmes. I've just done a search for the Adobe CS5 and can't believe the price! He's no longer in education so can't get the student/teacher discount, are there any other ways of getting this software without the huge price tag?

I've had a new internal hard drive installed to my son's G5. When it starts up he gets a small question mark on the screen. He wants to re install OSX Tiger but can't open the disc drive compartment, with no on screen instructions (the instructions for the OSX are in German). Can anyone tell me in the hard drive has been installed properly or how to open the disc drive compartment?

I've just ordered something from this site, from the address I assumed it was a UK based firm. I've since found out that its actually from the USA. I'm now a bit concerned. Has anyone dealt this this firm or have any further information about them.

I am trying to attach a Word File to an email, its 4 pages long and the only way I can do it is to add 1 page to 1 email and send individually. Even then its taking a long time to attach each page. Is there an easier or faster way of doing it. Its just a knitting pattern than I've scanned in and saved. Many thanks

I'm a member of a forum and at the moment I can't log in to it on my LP but I can log in without any problems from my PC. Can anyone explain why this is. I've even tried using another email address and new user name but it still doesn't allow me to log in.

Even when I change the colour back to blue when I log on its a sicky pink again. I can't see any way to keep it blue.

I installed a wireless printer/scanner to my laptop yesterday. When I try to scan and send an email I keep getting an error report: MSN Server Error:804 - Error Number 0x800CCCFO. Can anyone tell me in idiot proof language what I'm doing wrong please.

On the page options the green button is permanently depressed and I can't change it.
