Hello,

Until recently, my external hard disk WD My passport 500 GB variant was working well. But of late, though the software is up to date, the disk is not shown on My computer.

I tried the following also:

1. Control panel---system and security--- Administrative tools--- computer management--- storage also. It is displaying the hard disk, but shows "unallocated"

2. Control panel--- hardware and sounds--- devices and printers (the drive is displayed)

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drive, but no use.

Does this mean my hard disk has failed?

hello buddies, i heard that if i secure a rank below 8000 in srmeee, then i would be getting a merit seat into srm. can anyone who previously attended the srmeee and got selected, give me a rough idea of how much marks i need to be one among the 8000 candidates?
