I started my first garden ever this year and have gathered that soaker hoses work awesome but haven't found much information on how long to leave them running, I'm assuming atleast a few hours at a time? So far I've transplanted some strawberry plants I found (which aren't looking too healthy) and planted seeds for carrots, raddishes and cucumbers that are spaced roughly 8" between rows so my main question is do you put the house directly over the plants or in the space bewteen rows? and how long/often would you let it run? Any other tips would be great also

Oh and I live in the panhandle of Nebraska so its pretty dry and windy
