  • Is 85k a year enough for a family of 4?

I plan on getting a Ph. D in clinical psychology. I'm currently single and living in south Florida but I don't plan on having more than 2 children and I definitely plan to move up north a bit once I'm married. The salary varies a LOT so I'll put it at 85k. Is this enough to live in, say, a nice suburban neighborhood in northern Florida or maybe Virginia?

  • What if I have Ebola?

So I live in FL, I don't know if there has been any confirmed cases of it here. I just want to mention that I got spacers put in my teeth two days ago (which are extremely painful) and I don't know if it's related. Yesterday afternoon I took a looong nap and when I woke up at 9pm, my throat/back of my nose was super sore and congested and my body just didn't feel right. A few hours later my fever went up a little and I felt bad so I just went to sleep. I barely slept and I "woke up" right now and my fever is almost at 100. I have a dull headache which might be from the teeth pain and my throat is so sore/swollen it hurts to talk and swallow. No diarrhea yet, and I don't feel significantly weak. So basically, am I showing symptoms of Ebola? I don't know if I've come into contact with someone in school who has been in another state or something, but no one in my family has traveled out of state recently. I know I'm just overreacting but I'm a hypochondriac, I can't help but wonder haha.

  • Do you think he likes me?

So, there's this boy who's pretty attractive compared to me and I'm not sure if he likes me. I've been told I'm "pretty" but I'm 5'6" 180 lbs, which makes me pretty hefty. I had class with him my freshman year of highschool and looking back, it was so painfully obvious he had a crush on me but I never really noticed. Now I'm in my senior year and I have class with him again and he's starting to flirt with me again. He ALWAYS sits next to me in group assignments and leans into me really close. I dont say hi to him because im shy, but he always walks over to my table 2 or 3 times during that class and tries to make conversation. Yesterday, I came into class and sat down and as he was walking to his seat, he said hi and started playing with my hair and before he walked away he said "You know, you look really sexy.." in a low voice and I looked at him with an incredulous face and he laughed. Today he came over and started playing with my hair and said "You look really good with a bun." Some days he's alot more "interactive" than others.

The thing is, I always see him hugging other girls (sometimes rather intimately) but i've never seen him talking or flirting with other girls like me. In the class we share, there are a lot of other really pretty girls but I'm the only one he says hi to and talks to and comes over to, despite being pretty fat and not really attractive. Does he like me or does he sound like a tease?

  • Girl being rude to me for no reason at all?

So we got put into groups to analyze a couple of poems. I'm really quiet but very considerate of others and polite to all. Yet, the girl who sits in front of me is kind of rude to everyone but especially me. When we're analyzing the poems, I wait for everyone to give their opinion and then say "I think it might mean ..." The rest of the group takes it into consideration if it makes sense but this girl ALWAYS shakes her head with a look of disappointment and says "No it doesn't. You're analyzing it wrong, ..." Today, the teacher made a joke about tying a stapler to something to throw at her students and asked what she should tie it to. The girl reccomended something and I was going to say "She should tie it to one of those flingy rubber hand things." but she interrupted me mid sentence and said "Yeah, okay." with a really annoyed look. the rest of the group got quiet and glanced in surprise. Why is she being so rude to me? I've never even talked to her before.

  • What does "spaced out" mean?

If you saw someone with a sweater that read "spaced out" would you think they're a druggie? I daydream a lot but I've never touched drugs and I got this sweater that I really like but when I wore it people asked me why I was wearing it if I've never been "spaced out" on drugs.

  • Dreamed my mom was pregnant!?

My mom is in her early to mid-fifties and has symptoms of menopause, including missing her period for the last 3 months. She took a really cheap over-the-counter pregnancy test and didn't pay much attention to the details but nevertheless it came out negative. The thing is, she's dreamed of being pregnant at least four times now, and when she dreams of something, it ALWAYS comes true (whenever she dreams a close relative dies, maximum of a month later, they die. In fact, it happened last week with her cousin's mother in law, sadly). Last night I had the most vivid dream of me holding a newborn baby brother. In the dream, I held him in my arms and smiled for what felt like an actual 20 minutes. Everything felt SO real and he even had the same nose as me and my eyes as well. Of course I woke up and even now, whenever I think about my supposed baby brother from my dream, I get depressed because I feel like I made such a real connection with the baby and I remember it's just a dream.

  • Is he avoiding me even though he likes me?

Me and my crush both like each other a lot (he's told me) and he wants to be in a relationship but we haven't made it official. We've been texting nonstop since school ended which was a few weeks ago until about four days ago, he invited me to the movies last week and he told me he couldn't go the day we set it for so I told him to let me know. He hasn't texted me since then and his friend (she's his ex and she wanted to get back with him but he rejected her) told me he was really busy but he texts her everyday at least for a little while. I was talking to her while she was texting him and I texted him for the first time since we last spoke and he would respond to her messages but not my message that said "Hi? :s". He said he really liked me and he was nervous for our date because I was "so awesome" unlike the other girls he's taken out on dates. I don't get it.

  • Should I text him or should I wait?

So me and my crush confessed our feelings for each other about a week or two ago and we've been texting non-stop since school ended, which was a few weeks ago, but we're not officially going out. Two weeks ago he invited me to the movies and I said sure and he said it had to be someday the week after he invited me, but we didn't set an exact day so we had to let each other know what day was best. On Monday, I texted him saying we could go either Tuesday or Wednesday. He agreed and when Tuesday came, I texted him to confirm if we would go that day, but he said we was busy helping his grandfather the whole day. I said "Oh okay. :P Tomorrow then?" and he responded with "Maybe. :) I'll see if I can. :)" and I said "Okie. Let me know :)" and the last thing he said was "I shall :D". This was four days ago, and he still hasn't texted me back. Of course, I haven't texted him at all either, since he was the one that was supposed to respond to me. A few days later, I explained to his friend what happened (she's my friend too) and asked her if he had texted her at all since he and I last spoke. She said they did text, but only for 15 minutes.

So what should I do? Should I not text him at all and wait for him to text me someday since he was supposed to let me know when our date was (he referred to it as our date, not me) but never did, or should I text him casually asking what's up and why he hasn't texted me? ALSO, the friend I asked if he had spoken to is his ex, and while me and my ex were texting, she told him she wanted to get back with him but he told her no because he said he liked me and wanted to have a relationship with me. Is this whole situation her fault? Did he ditch me for her even though he said he didn't want to be in a relationship with her?

  • I worry about the future constantly and I'm only 15?

For example, because of the fact that no one has ever asked me out and I'm pretty unattractive, I CONSTANTLY worry about "what if I never get married and have kids really old or even worse, I never have kids." because having children is something I really look forward to, even at this age. It's kind of weird I know. I've become psychotic about the passing of time and how quick it goes by and I'm constantly calculating my actions and making sure I'll have time for everything else I want to do. I even get extremely nervous every single night because I think it's another day gone by and one less left to live. I also check the time CONSTANTLY. I have OCD, could this be it? This constant worry is the same thing with everything else around me. I feel like everything is my problem and my responsibility and though I'm bursting with anxiety inside constantly, I never show it and my family sees me as super careless which adds more to my anxiety. Sometimes, when it really gets to me, I wish I could fast forward life to the point where I'm basicly old and dieing so I wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore.

  • My cable box fell and now it won't get signal?

It fell about 4 or 5 feet and when I turned it on the first few times it said no signal. Now when you turn it on it manages to connect perfectly fine for about 3 seconds and then the screen goes green and even the audio goes away. How can I solve this?

  • How long does it take for a Toshiba replacement screen to be shipped?

I broke the screen on my laptop but everything else is fine. My mom gave it to this guy who's friends with her boss and knows about computers. Well, it's been a month or so since we've given him the computer for repairs and 2/3 weeks ago he said the screen would arrive that week and a month later, nothing. He told my mom he would pass by her job yesterday and he didn't. All he has to do is replace the screen because everything else is fine. The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L655d. How long is it supposed to take for a Toshiba laptop screen to arrive to Miami, FL. I also don't know any details about shipping.

  • can I simplify this more or is this the final answer?

It's asking for x. The original equation is:

    tan x = 127/240

Then I simplified it to: (I don't know if this is correct)

    tan x = 0.5291666667

Is this the final answer or what do I have to do after?
